camillus bankrupt?

Camillus don't bother to listen to their customers. A good example would be the Becker line. Many here on this forum have expressed the handle problem on becker knives, no improvements have been made. I'd rather take my business somewhere else like Busse Combat where they listen to the feedback and tweak their products to satisfy their customers.
I like the becker handles and i'm sure that most buyers also do. They are tough and inexpensive allowing for a handle that can stand up to hard use without breaking and can be made cheap allowing for an affordable low cost hard use knife. Micarta is slippery unless textured or checkered and is not nearly as tough as the becker handles.

I find them too bulky and slippery as do many other folks. If you do have a large hands, I assume that's not an issue for you but for me it is. Micarta is not an option unless you buy Becker extremes which I think are darn overpriced.

I have purchased micarta scales for my knives directly from Camillus...$20 something including shipping, and IMHO they are mighty nice. They shrink the handle a bit (a good thing for some people) and make things a little grippier. They are not as large as the plastic scales though which I wish they were.
