The handle on the big one is awesome. Such a handle would look silly with a 4" blade, and 6" is more than I need for outdoor utility. So a 5" blade and the larger handle for me would be good.

For $30 just get the 6" version and grind it down. ;)

Late on this thread. Yea nice price and knife but sportsmans Guide will not ship to where they say they wont , just got off the phone with them , and I'm po'd ! How dumb ! I can sympatize with them not wanting to get sued , but who are the idiots making up these laws and ordinances ??
It's not the company's fault , it's the 'feel good' libs doin this stuff

I feel bad for those of you who are having trouble getting Sportsmans Guide to ship to your home states. Do any of you have family or friends that live in another state that they will ship to? Then they could re-ship the knife to you.

It's available in 4" or 6". But you'd prefer in-between?
I for one, would love it with a 5" blade. The reason is that in Texas, I can carry a fixed blade concealed, as long as it's under 5 1/2". That's why I traded my 6" version away a couple of years ago. Four inches makes for a nice utility concealed blade, but 5" would be perfect (for me, that is).

By chance, do you have the phone number for your state legislature in Sacramento? Tell Arnold "No more girlie-man knife laws!" :D

"sportsmans Guide will not ship to where they say they wont"

They also won't ship to some places where they don't say they won't.

I wasn't trying to make fun when I said this, not that I mind making fun on occation...

My point is most knife models are available in one size only. This knife is offered in two different sizes, so I figured most people would be happy.

With the Texas law, I'm suprised more people don't want 5-7/16" blades.

Best Wishes,
Bob
