Can a switchblade be considered traditional ?

This pachyderm thinks that traditional autos are way, way cooler than modern autos.

While Louie is no doubt the consummate connoisseur of cutlery, what do you think about it? I have long pondered on a purchase of that particular knife.
I think it would make a good camp knife. For me it’s a little too big and heavy for pocket carry but a belt sheath would make sense. Fit and finish is very good and it locks up tight. I think they are about $150 now. They also make replacement springs for them.

Thanks. Darn, they have gotten spendy. I want to say you could get one around $80 when last I was looking.

Reese Bose said some years ago he carried one of his 3 1/4" trappers (he recently re-bladed it to single) and a Hubertus switchblade.
