Can a switchblade be considered traditional ?

It's an old fish tail shur-snap from Colonial. Cool knife for sure but not really designed for much use other than fiddling with it. Blade opens and locks well but is pretty wobbly.
 
When I was a kid there were displays of Schrade and other brads in drug stores and hardware stores. As recall, they were mostly single blade knives, wirth the occasional pen. Some of the pen knives had a button for each blade. I would say they would qualify as traditional.
