- Fair enough. When the time comes, will ZT go into more detail on the issues associated with this project? I know I'm not the only one that was following this knife since it won Knife of the Year.

I don't enjoy making that request, and I don't see it happening often, but I am asking you to do us a favor. We are happy to discuss these knives ad nauseum once they are released. We just don't want to discuss it right now before they are out there in the market.

I just wanted to say that although we are not supposed to to about it, I thought it was only right for my dealer to tell me since I have a money deposited for the composite 777. I am not getting what I ordered so I think it's good customer service to inform me of such details.
Now the main reason everyone wants to know is because the ones avil are now the only ones to be made, the price tag on these just surpassed even well known custom knives. Before we all thought eleven was insane, now that's cheap and everyone is jumping on that. Getting interesting...

I could've gotten one on May 2nd for $800 from an online retailer and thought it was too much! Four figures plus here we go.

Once KAI is ready and willing to do so, it would be enlightening to know of the issues with the 0777 project. Also, how the lessons learnt are being applied to projects since like the triple-layer sandwich 0454.
 
Please don't expect any details with the original 0777 project as we proceed.

I'm guessing there are more 777 out there now than how many 888 they are making so I'm going to have to trade one of the 888s I'm getting for a 777.
