Can you guess what this is?

This is a material I have been using for a few years now, I have sold some in my store too. In my opinion it is nicer than musk ox horn, the only draw back is that it is thin-walled. Everyone that takes a guess will be in a drawing to win one of these sets of scales. The rest will be going on knives I am taking to Atlanta. I don't have any of this material for sale at this time but I will post some later. Here are some clues, you almost never see it, all the color and texture is natural except that the bottom set has been heat colored, they have been steamed and flattened, and they have been sanded and polished. We've got some sharp people here, let's see who gets it.

I have never tried "Mother in law horn", my guess is it would be hard to get, they don't just stand there and let you have them do they?

I'm wanting to say goat horn, but I doubt thats it since, one, its rare because most goat owners will burn the horns off before they get a chance to grow, and two, the color just doesn't look right. All well, I'll just say goat on the very off chance I get it right.

I was thinking unicorn since you hardly ever see it but I don't think the color is right... I was also thinking narwhale but isn't it illegal to sell? Anyway, obviously I'm not one of the sharp people you were referring to but those are gorgeous!

I know this is bladeforums but that bottom pair look like they would make a killer set of handgun grips!

could be Rooibok horn or springbok... but since the other two are kinda taken I will put my money is on kudu. That rough inside is a give away.
