You're getting way ahead of yourself and are making things way harder than they have to be. Most of the people replying to this thread have been making knives for several years. You started 2 or 3 days ago. We're trying to share hard earned knowledge with you but if you wanna do things your way then by all means go for it.
Don't skip English class (Language Arts); it will make it far easier to sell knives if you can communicate in an understandable manner.
Sharpening jig to get a decent bevel on it. Also should have pinned the scales on them as they are going to be prone to cracking or sliding off which can be dangerous. People on here know a lot more then I do but I would work on those if I were you for the next onekeep going and I know how much it pains for me to say it but slow down. Try and work on more drawings you will find a good flow look at knife designs and see what style you like try and not make something super complicated with finger holes and such but something like what you have make another one like it and try and just put the bevels in make the bevels flat and pin the handle in and shape the grip more and you will be fine
.
you can pick up brass rod at ace hardware or lowes or home depot. It will be brass dowel or something it will be in the misc metals section. I got mine from Ace hardware a 1/8th inch piece about 3 foot long was only 5 bucks I think and that will make probably 20 pins. You do not have to spend a lot on a knife. You have to put in some time yes but a knife can be cheap and still usable.
If it means that big of a deal to you guys I will certainly use grammar.
