See im the opposite warrior. Id much rather see the doctor than the dentist... I dont LIKE going to either, but if there was a choice, it wouldnt be much of a choice for me LOL

Man, bought my wife a 46" samsung smart TV and a Tv stand bracket thingy to go in the bedroom on black friday, both xmas gifts, the stand cost 70 and the TV was 428. Just got through double checking the size of the stand and noticed today it dropped down to 49 bucks. Made me decide to check the TV, it dropped down to 380. Walfart got over on me good!! Last time i shop with them online on black friday.

Blade HQ has them on sale

Also does anyone have experience with the fenix e35? I missed out on the pd35 deal, but this looks like a good substitute a a good price

Hmmm... Out of stock, and their supposed sales are not much of a sale. That goes for most their stuff, most of the time. If they had them in stock it looks like they would be 65. They say their special price on the bk15 is 62 bucks and normal sale price is 77. Hell even the river store has the 15s for 43 shipped.

Oh, but the E35 looks like a good substitute to me!

it hit the high 50s and low 60s in my area today.

nearly all the snow i would have had to shovel or snowthrow is simple gone. much of the other snow is definitely "tired"...

kinda bizarre. -13 one day, 61 two days later?

Blah. The truck I drive wouldn't start tonight and our spare truck has been sitting 100 miles away from here for 3 months waiting for my boss to put a transmission in it. He had another tractor at his place, but the guys that own it only want him to drive it, so here I am missing out on a whole days pay because my boss procrastinates too damn much. I'll be asking to be paid for tonight anyways. Whats really stupid is that I'm a way better driver than my boss is, so if they trust him with their truck there is no reason they couldn't trust me.

Just ate taco bell that was 6 days old. I swear I didn't think it was that long ago. I mean, we're still eating Turkey here and this was the night before.

Oh well.

Snark ..

Twas a quiet night here. I slept. Went to sleep around 0030 and woke up at 0630. I been sleeping more the last month or 2. Maybe all that no sleeping is finally catching up to me. The wife says its because im getting old LOL

Have to go in to the VA today for my 3 month checkup. Fun Fun.

I swear someone on another forum im part of was just talking about eating old taco bell too... I think he got his out of his car's glove box though :barf:

A sign that the end times are near...better get prepared!! :D

I would prefer the apocalypse today instead of going to work. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my job. I just want the excuse to go shooting :D

Picked me up a Surefire 6P for $20!!!

Great light. Battery Junction had a bunch of nice drop-ins at good prices. You can really make a 6P blast some lumens with a Cree drop-in.

YUP!! I picked up a 2nd one for the wife thanks to the heads up from Gunyon.

They are badass lights! 960 lumens with 1 18650 battery OR 1000 lumens with 2 CR123s.. At the sale price it was a no brainer... Even at the regular price i paid for mine its worth every penny and then some.

In one facebook group im apart of there is a bunch of light gurus, several of them have handfuls and handfuls of flashlights and many claim the 2014 PD35 to be the best light on the market under 200 dollars!!! And they dont come anywhere near 200 dollars. Hard to beat is an under statement.

The only fault that some people have, and for some its a deal breaker, is the fact it cant tail stand. But with a little creativity this is an easy fix. You can use the nylon case and make it stand on its end no problem.

I keep paracord on mine. This isnt for looks. I have used that paracord many times to tie the light to branches/poles whatever and direct light into a direction i need. Now the blue rubber bands on there is something my daughter did because she thought it was neat... So i left them there, but they "MAY" come in handy one day too LOL

I didn't know it bumped to 1000 with the CR123's. Cool.
I've never had the need to tail stand a high-output light, but the quick solution with the sheath is a good one.
Any chance those rubber bands are going to melt from heat output?

$20 for a 1000 lumen flashlight? what?

Today IS Tuesday :D

having my teeth prepped for lithium disilicate later

My truck's exhaust is shot. Last winter was rough. A nice new hole opened up this morning and my aggressive rumble is a bit more ornery now. I suppose it's time to shop for a new exhaust. I think I'm going to go from my dual exhaust back to a single set-up for the time being. Fortunately, it looks like there are some decent sales right now; unfortunately, it looks like I won't be ordering that M-18 anytime soon. :thumbdn:

I have yet to need to tail stand mine either. I figured out that trick with the sheath after a guy commented that this light would be useless to him since it wouldnt tail stand. I do however tie it to things with the paracord all the time to direct light where i need. So i can work without having to hold the light. It has especially came in handy when putting a tent up at night.

On the fenix site under questions and answers the fenix team stated that with 2 cr123s it went up to 1000 lumen. But i have tried both battery types, and cant honestly tell any difference in the max output... Of course its kind of hard to see a 40 lumen difference with the naked eye when you reach outputs like that.

I was a bit worried about the rubber bands at first, as the front does get pretty warm on max settings, but so far they havent started melting or anything. Then again i dont use it on the max setting too often, and when i do its only for a few seconds or so. Really the mid level is about as bright as i have ever "needed".... Still its fun to turn it up to max now and again, when i do people are like "DAMN!! all that light from that little thing" LOL
