Can't think of a clever SNARK thread title, Snark thread.

Bought this today at a flea market. Anybody care to guess what it is?

Yah, I was gonna say a converted Old Hickory cleaver or something such.

That was gonna be my guess...

The Old Hickory is correct, however it is not altered from the original. You'll have to dig deeper.

My next best guess is that it's for butchering a species of gelatinous aliens from outside out solar system.

it's a bris knife

imma gonna hafta lookup the blessing for the knife. all I learned was wine and bread. I can't even properly bless a beer... maybe because it's not allowed on pesach. But worship a beer? that I can do. :D

what's this flashlight you're talking about cheap like

it's pricey, but good, and better than a root canal if i don't :D

check out Smiley Ultrasonic Toothbrush too. might be good for teeth or cleaning tools

The flashlight is the Fenix PD35. Its not too pricey, and good, better than a root canal as well :D

That axe table is AWESOME. But id be worried the kids would cut themselves up on it. That or id get bored and want to use them axes :)

take your receipt and a printout of the lowered prices back to the store they were purchased from, they may be willing to do a "30-day price match" and give you a gift card for the difference so you can buy more stuff from them.

I will indeed try this!! Thanks! Its like a 70 dollar difference... If it was 10 bucks or so i wouldnt care... But 70 bucks in just a couple days is crazy, especially when they had me believe it was the best sale of the year.

I'm no doctor either...

I need some more guns.

I find this hard to believe. I suspect you meant to use the word "want" rather than "need".... hahahaha.... I'm in the same boat with ya'.

I also find this hard to believe. I'd be inclined to believe the Old Hickory cotton knife theory, though. The design seems ill suited for your suggested purpose...

When you're single with disposable income, "want" and "need" may as well be interchangeable. The only hard part is figuring out which gun to get first. My short list right now is a Glock 19 gen 4, Ruger LCR 9mm, and an AK pistol of some sort; Probably an M92 PAP. I can afford one right now, the other two I can probably get with my tax return. I also need to finish up the guns I have now. They all run but I have an AR and two AK's that need optics, two glocks that need night sights, my .30-30 that I need to mount my scope on, and a stripped AR lower that has been in the safe for close to 4 years.

Hoss, G19 or AK pistol... Just because.

I've been drooling over the Springfield Range Officer Compact model or a Sig P938. It'll be a more urgent conundrum when I have the cash scraped up through.

The AK pistol will probably be last. I'm starting the process to get my CCP so the G19 and LCR are guns I can actually use, even though I already have small CC guns. The AK I have a whole plan for and it's going to cost a few hundred on top of the gun itself. I'd love to get an Arsenal SAM7K pistol but they're twice as much ($1000-$1300) most other AK pistols. I was also looking at the mini Draco but I haven't found a way to mount a red dot sight so that it will co-witness with the irons.

Springfield makes a nice 1911. I had some real issues with my MC Operator but eventually they just sent me a new one and it's showing no hint of trouble after 600 rounds or so, but that's barely getting started. The compact RO looks like a good gun. I was kind of excited for the fullsize RO until I found out about the adjustable rear sight. I'd like to see more guns with decent sights and beavertails down near the entry level.

I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like an awful lot...

Missed this.

In cardiac arrest its not an awful lot. 10ml of 1:10000 (i.e 1mg) IV OR 3-10mg of 1:1000 via ETT can be used if IV access cannot be obtained but in cardiac arrest after cardiac surgery, consideration should be given to immediate sternotomy. If adrenaline is administered in this setting, a standard 1mg dosage is inappropriate due to the risk of rebound hypertension leaking to fatal hemorrhage.Give bolus doses of 1ml of 1:10000 and uptitrate gently if circulation is not restored.

:D Just dont ask me to explain that :D

Sounds like a plan! I started looking at the 1911 when my eye wandered from the Sig P290 to the 938, then to other pistols that were in about the same price range as the P938. The compact RO seemed to be the best of both worlds with the compact frame, but longer commander slide.

The Google is strong with this one.

Same profile as a cotton knife?

First one I've seen floating around a flea market. It's actually pretty cool. They are thicker than most OH's and when sharpened up will even chop a little. Has a distal taper, unlike a cleaver, and would be a dandy spatula/food prep knife. I'm going to have some fun playing around with this one. Don't have any cotton bales to sample though.

I only watch the parts with Katherine Heigl. And with the sound off.

I put that show on one night thinking it would be something i could easily fall asleep to.. Then got hooked LOL

But im in the middle of season 4 now.. And starting to lose a little interest. Im tired of all the relationship drama. And the doctors and their families seem to be the main ones getting worked on.

Im thinking it would be good for making collard greens. Or for making cole slaw. Basically any leafy greens it looks like it would dispatch them with great ease!

This is the correct way to watch that show.

But for the 30 seconds before your heart explodes that would be one helluva high!

it's a bris knife
If your name is Lorena Bobbitt maybe!
