Can't think of a clever SNARK thread title, Snark thread.

Bought these on a lark from STP. Should be fun.

The troubling part was the pamphlet inside that advertised this...

Dressed up like 'James Bond' waiting for the wife to finish her hair.

Never mind them Philistines who are frightened of looking awesome. It's great fun to wear a nice suit or tux and stand tall and present yourself with class and decorum... makes ya feel swave and deboner. (also, wives really like that kinda thang now and then.. it makes 'em proud of ya, and sometimes it makes 'em frisky ;) ) I wouldn't want to bother with that every day, but on special occasions... heck yeah!

Flask and lefty are packed. A 'light' carry for me of my two gentlemen folders (ZT 0562 / 0801).

Always good to be prepared. Sounds to me like you're ready for a darn good time with your better half :) Just stand up straight, say clever things like "indubitably, my good sir!", keep your shoulders square and try not to burp or fart out loud.

I have issues. I went looking for a BK-14 (green paracord wrapped handle) that I know I own.
I could not find it. Still haven't found it. But in the process, I rounded up the bunch below.
Several were given to me, and others were bought on the cheap at Blade Show, but still, I had no idea.

That's a very good problem to have. I'm reasonably certain that you will find a use for them, or perhaps find some poor, desperate, unfortunate non-Becker-Necker-or-Escabar-having person* that might could give them a happy and loving home.

(*Not me, I already have a Camillus version and a Ka-Bar version of the BK-11, so I'm good to go :) )

If you send me two of those Ill send you one back that will magically be wrapped with green cord.

promises promises...

The Snark is strong with this one. bigghoss, you may own a lot of guns, but that fact means nothing to Bladite.
He'll slip in undetected and take all your Beckers and ammo. Moreover, your pets will never be the same.

For both worldwood and bigghoss....

Your mother was a hampster, and your father smelled of elderberries....
Now go away, or I will taunt you a second time.

Best line in a movie..lol

I don't have any pets and Bladite has a purdy mouth.

Good luck! I could have shot several this year, but I've let everything walk so far. Lots of small does, a little four-point, and a little eight-point.
I've been waiting for either a nice fat doe or something with a rack so big I just couldn't let it go. Season runs on into January, so there's still time.

so - SWMBO is out of town for a couple of days --- this means I get to cook food, not prey-food!
1 pound ground elk, 1 pound spicy sausage, 3/4 pound bacon cooked then minced, half a diced onion, the last of my garden pepper harissa (hungarian and serrano peppers minced with garlic and simmered in vinegar before canning), a cup of diced Jarlsberg, and a cup of garden corn cut off the cob.
mix thoroughly, dump in a 5x9 loaf pan and bake at 350 for an hour before gorging commences.

Wash down with a growler of good brew?

Good luck! Hopefully you get to break in your new lever gun.

I finally saw (spooked) three deer this evening after two days of nothing but barking squirrels and a sickly coyote. Two more days left of the second firearms season. I've two tags and an empty freezer to fill.

Wait, I thought the pets thing was all Moose... Wasn't that how he got his name?! I'm so confused now.
