Can't think of a clever SNARK thread title, Snark thread.

Please don't bump old C_Tanner threads. The guy just winds up with exposure he doesn't deserve.

Heads up to any of the heads that are going to shot, I was watching a video from a certain, unpopular, becker head an he mentioned he going to try and sweet talk Ethan into giving him a kukri. Might want to keep your eyes on him

Ethan will be forewarned.

Yesterday was the end of deer rifle season. We had no luck. There were plenty of sign but Amanda and I saw nothing.

Before next season we plan on scouting a lot more and using trail cameras to help pattern some bucks we have been seeing tracks, rubs and scrapes from.

Either way it was fun and I got to experience the woods in a different way.

Now I get to shop for shotguns and hope Amanda doesn't get too pissed when I move up in price.

On a completely unrelated note, has anyone used a .17 for a varmint gun? I'm thinking about picking up a coyote gun, but haven't really decided on a caliber or gun. Pretty sure I want a bolt gun, though.

I'm sure they're quite effective on critters, but they're a beotch to clean because there just isn't much room for fouling, rods, etc. The boresnake I have for mine didn't even fit without tuning because the peening (sp?) to hold on the leading brass weight squished it out too wide to fit.

Had some cards made up to go out with the little hawks. Its one card, just front and back. Now just to fill the bags LOL

Nice!!

You'll never get the ocean to stay in there, no matter how salty you make it. I like my biru.....even if I have to use it twice to get caps off sometimes. And JT, I don't know what kinda beer you drink, but don't hahdly nunna th' good stuff come with twisties.

Yeah, the trade-off with the 3/32" biru's is that there's less room for tuning and they have a bit less purchase on the cap. But they disappear in a pocket and are no bulkier than a key fob!

Had some fun in the back yard today. Notice to the Northeast 'Heads: I plan to kill it next year at the gathering.

Actually I was lucky as hell....that CRKT doesn't always stick in the target due to the blade thickness. Not to mention the number of times I missed it altogether. But I will be practicing (cue the "Rocky" theme)...
Video is private Mike. Need to go in and set it to public so we can see it :)
Fixed it. This is what happens when one starts imbibing malt beverages at 2 pm.....and then tries to post videos at 3 am....

I wish you would go back to typing in something resembling English. It took me about 40 minutes to figure out WTF you were saying there... and even once I stumbled through it, it wasn't terribly helpful.

Hey, we can't all be Shakespeare. Why would you even waste two minutes reading anything I wrote? Nunnuvit's thaht impoahtint, ennywaze. (tr: None of it is that important, anyways).

WW: Thanks for the enlightening demo, but stop using an opener on those twisties. You'll break a neck one of these days and end up with glass in your beer. That'd be a damn shame....'cause you know you're gonna miss those Yuenglings when you move down south.

I nominate the guy who posted on ctanners post from shot 2013 for post of the month. Too bad he will be infracted.

I just seen the post. It was funny indeed!!

Took me a while to find it... I confess, I lol'ed. Can't say that I disagree with the infracted poster. Giving your knives names of women seems a bit odd to me...Narsil, Glamdring, Orcrist...now those are suitable names for blades. :D

Look at you gettin' all professional like on us. :D Kidding aside, awesome stuff man. You're doing it up right.

Thanks man!! I was trying to think up SOMETHING to make it/me seem more professional than it/I really am. LOL

Nice throwing of them hawks brother!!!

WHAT do you mean im going to miss them yuenglings??? A while ago my father asked me which beer i drink and i told him and he said my step brother, who lives down in Florida, drinks yuengling. Damn. Now i have to find out if Black and tans can be had down there.... I will indeed miss them if not.

The brewery distributes its beers to Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Washington DC and will begin shipping to Massachusetts in 2014. Soon, all of this will be yours, Yuengling! (Not the curtains.)

Doesnt say black and tans specifically though. Must find out!!!

Thanks bud!!

Morning Psyop!!!

Hey DOC, you ever see yuengling black and tans round your parts?? What about Yuengling light? My wife likes the light, and i can drink them too if need be.

From google searches the closest place i can find black and tans will be 100 miles from where ill be living. Still in Florida, but 100 miles one way is no quick drive. Now i need to prepare myself and find another beer i like to drink close as much, thats easily obtainable. Or start contacting a closer beer store now and asking them to stock it. Maybe by July/August when we plan to move they will have got them in LOL

WW, welcome to our hell.... Don't worry though. It just makes Yuengling taste that much better.

Dude didn't leave much choice. His language was too antagonistic to ignore. I did, however, opt for the 5-point expiring infraction rather than a trolling infraction or worse.

Two things here:

1) YouTube warriors like C_Tanner live for publicity, exposure, video plays, "Likes," and such. Best thing to do is to ignore him. Even bad publicity is publicity, as one of today's responses in that thread reveals. In addition, not everyone reads threads in their entirety. Let PM101 wallow in as much obscurity as possible, I say. Shit slinging is only going to draw attention to him, and I'd rather not draw attention.
2) It's easy to spout names and veiled threats anonymously, so I felt like that post was pretty cowardly, actually. Better to unpack such things face-to-face.

Do not worry. I've emailed the folks at Ka-Bar as well as Ethan, and they know the score.

Heck yeah. Those extra touches make it nice.

Yessir i agree. The guy who makes the custom beads that i have shown here a few times includes a similar type card with all his beads and i always thought it was a nice touch. Actually he is the one who made these cards for me. I asked him where he gets his made and he said he makes them himself, asked what i wanted... And here we are!

We have a stop in Clarksville, TN (that stocks Black & Tan) on the way to Nashville. They know me now and go get a case out of the back when I walk in. There are also four or five enormous military surplus stores and a US Cavalry at the same Ft. Campbell exit.

I look forward to visiting the mother in law. :D:D:D

The version I rarely see is the Yuengling Porter. I'd buy it all the time if I could find it easily.

A gas station at exit 4 has Porter. It will work in an emergency/bug out situation.

I will not rest till both top a thousand.

Good to know. I keep six bottles of Black and Tan in my bug-out bag, but they keep coming up empty.
