It simply checks all the boxes. Beats every Benchmade I have. Runner up is the Superfreek. Going on two years now trying to find the one. The design is brilliant and and the knife performs. Anyone else out there as impressed as I am with this one?

Not really. It’s a nice knife in a mediocre steel but it isn’t that impressive.

I've carried Enduras since 92. I have pretty much all variants except the waved ones. I don't need or use a wave. After 30 years of carry I can open and close them faster and safer than any other knife including autos.

I am carrying the K390 version. It's an amazing steel and slices pretty much as long as any steel I have tried while being easy to sharpen. My other favorites are HAP 40 and Super Blue versions . V Toku is a great steel too though not super lasting wear resistance wise. It sharpens as easy as any steel I've tried though. Pretty much the same can be said for the Super Blue version. I still wait for a Cruwear version.

Yep, I love it. I usually carry a fully serrated waved endura 4 offhand in my left pocket. I cycle through a lot of other knives in the right hand pocket.

I've only been here a short time, but I've noticed that these "superlative statement" type threads don't ever seem to go over well around these parts.. there may end up being as many different opinions as there are posts and.. though few are nessecarily "wrong".. eventually two or more differing opinions are sure to collide..

I think the Endura is a fine knife, but it is topped by many in my collection. The waved Endela comes immediately to mind.. very similar knife, but I prefer the Endela's size for edc..

I didn't like the Sabre grind. I'm a fill flat or hollow guy. My biggest problem with Waved blades is if you are defense minded it doesn't make sense. Doesn't get brought up much but if you pull it hard and fast like you would in an adrenaline filled fight or flight situation it can bounce back to half closed. Same goes with Emersons and ZT Waved models. That bring said I would argue the best Waved knife ever made was the PM2 waved. I havr never had it bounce back, and it's relatively slicey for what it is. My perfect knife is a large Seb, Inkosi, or Zaan in the DP configuration. My perfect spyderco is a stretch, stretch 2 or stretch 2 xl. The drop point stretch is one of the sliciest and best performing knives I've ever owned.

The Endura is a classic, but there's a huge list of knives that I'd carry before ever carrying an Endura again. The handle is oddly shaped, and a blade that large being that thin isn't great. 🤷

If you're a Glock handgun owner, there is 1 better.

It's the Lone Wolf Tactical Armorer exclusive which is a waved Endura 4 w/a 3/32" punch included to facilitate the disassembly of any Glock.

Not sure if it's still available or not but I just found a listing for it on Lone Wolf's website here.

It's still priced there at only $77.95 which is $28 (or about 26%) less than the MAP price of $106.40 (70% of the $152 MSRP) for the waved Endura 4 w/o the punch which makes it a better deal even if you don't need/use the punch.

I've got one but I think it's discontinued (sold out) and I've seldom seen one for sale here or on EB.
I have gifted several of these to cops, including my police chief son-in-law. Great knife IMO.

I have to be honest, I’ll never quite understand the appeal of the wave feature. That said, I love the Endura, and own one in every steel it’s come out in, with the exception of AUS-6 (because who really wants a steel-handled Endura in AUS-6?).
