Carbon Fiber, Composite Blade, 0560.

Is it 3D machined on the CF side. I can't hardly tell from the pics and curious why change the locking side from 3D machined to flat? I love that about my 0560.

BTW, great looking knife!

me too, the 3d machining on the Ti side is my favorite feature on the 560.

Both the Ti and CF are 3-D machined with this knife. They are just not heavily textured, but have a more ultra-fine textured finish.

I think this was the right call. I love the smooth machining on the original volt. Not only did it look good, but the peaks and valleys make scratches more uncommon than just beadblasted Ti.

That and it looks more classy, matching the carbon fiber.

I'm definitely down for one..
 
And I JUST said last night that I wasn't buying anymore knives! At least this one looks like it will come out after another pay period and I can sell some stuff. I love the flipper, the Ti, and I have been wanting a black 56X. Carbon fiber is just great! Now I don't know if I should wait on the all black version or not...ugh! LOL!
 
At first I was like oh look a 0560 with cf scales from the factory then I saw the blade and steel.

I don't buy knives very often, it's been about 2 years since I purchaced a new blade. Love my ZT0300 and would love to see a high end steel version. Was saving up for a 0560 anyway so I am cool waiting a while longer. Thanks for the sneek preview ThomasW!
 
looks like its up on gpk, not a pre-order just a "coming soon" not sure how accurate their info is, or if they're just estimating themselves, but their page says Q1 2013. I might actually be able to still get that P226 afterall (although I was totally willing to give it up if this was coming out sooner)

Great combination of features on a terrific design. I will wait patiently, it will be mine. Nice work to all involved.

This should be posted be every pic of a future knife that you post here. I think some people clearly need that kind of constant reminder!
