It's definitely harder to distinguish the "read" posts from the "unread" posts... my old eyes don't help.

Much easier to tell on the grey version. I like the black better but don't like the blue letters.

I'm not absolutely certain about this, but my current conjecture is that you actually have to be FEELING the corresponding emotion when you want to use an emoji!!
