My wife and I play every day normally. The longest streak I’ve had was 23 in a row. Mostly I go 4-6 and she gets me.

I don’t get the chance to play others much. I know a guy that has played in tournaments but he moved away before we could get into playing. As well as broadening my vocabulary, I’ve been working on my strategies some.

I have a bad habit.... if I have a cool word, especially an archaic that the wife might challenge, I’ll play it in favor of a word that is common but makes more points.

These two have been waiting for me every morning, to toss them a couple of scoops of bird seed. This morning I found they had left me a gift. My grandkids will get a kick out of the feather.

I startled one in my yard this morning when I went to post a bill. She darted across the road and into my neighbor's woods. It kind of surprised me that she ran instead of flew. It really surprised me how fast she ran 😲 I've seen turkeys run before, but she was bookin' 🏃‍♀️

I've never played Scrabble seriously, mostly on rainy sunday afternoons.
I've learnt to play chess early and was caught by the game. I was a good average player and have worked hard to improve. Game analysis, theoretical issues and all. A bit obsessively. I feel better now and don't play much anymore.

I really like chess too, but I have nobody to play with. I’m decent I think. I don’t study it. I’ve played whenever someone is willing. But mostly people just roll their eyes when I suggest a friendly game. I’ve played online some but it’s not as much fun.

My wife doesn’t play chess so scrabble it is. I plan to teach my son the game of chess though.

They can sure climb a tree though. My father has flocks of wild turkeys regularly visit his house in Oregon. They climb trees in the evening to sleep. I'm talking 60~70ft in the air...You swear they can fly 😂

Yep they roost like peacocks. I've never seen them climb, but in the winter when the snow is really deep they'll fly to my bird feeders to forage for dropped seed, then fly back to the woods.
