Dave : All I could find quickly was on the GEC site under the INFORMATION listings . I am sure that it is not all inclusive .

Harry
Thanks Harry!
I saw that one but I'm pretty sure I've seen a more complete list somewhere else. Just can't remember where or find it again. I checked AAPK and Levine's but no luck yet. Even tried Google, I know it's gotta be out there.

idk Charlie, last week i sneezed three times in a row and pulled something in my neck, still havent been able to turn my head right without pain, i guess the mid thirties is it 🀣

I had a neck pull or strain of some kind years ago and I couldn’t shake it. Then I met up with a friend of mine who was a fitness and mobility coach and he gave me a really simple stretch to do and it resolved it within a few sessions. I’ll make you a video and hopefully it can help.

Better idea, I found a video.

This is more comprehensive than what I did. Literally all I did to resolve my issue was the anterior scalene stretch at 4:37. But all of this is solid gold.

They key to muslce pain is to warm everything up. If the a motion causes pain, stop short of the end range where the pain starts. But you should be able to gradually increase the range of motion through which you can move pain free through progressively warming up, and over the course of multiple sessions. In any movement, discomfort is fine, but as soon as it feels like sharp or sudden pain that is when you immediately back off. Good luck mrknife mrknife , I hope this helps!

I dunno. I've gotten to the point where my back and neck joints pop in and out of place on a regular basis fairly easily. I find if I lie on the floor and straighten everything out as soon as I feel something isn't in place, I can put the bone segments back in place before I get a muscle spasm. It's the muscles that cause the pain. In short, I've become my own chiropractor.

thanks for these!!! i was quite shocked myself when it happened. i had a patient in my lab and a mask on as well. but the natural instinct was still to turn my head when I sneeze into the crook of my arm, mask and all. Ive been using a lacrosse ball to help massage it as well. sorta getting back to about 75-80% of my head turning right with no major discomfort.

I used to know a guy who slipped a disc sneezing on chapati flour 😱 Since he was climbing Nanga Parbat at the time, it was pretty inconvenient πŸ™„ Hope you're ok Jack πŸ‘

Where can a person find a list with pics of shields used on Pocketknives?
TIA

Dave
Isn't there one in BL4 Dave? I think I have an image, I'll try to remember to post it when I get home, though I don't know if it's any better than the one on the GEC site πŸ‘

Thank You Jack!
Not that I could find in BL4

Dave
Sorry Dave, maybe I was confusing it with the bolster diagram in BL4. I must have it somewhere, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue what any of the shields were! Google image searches just pick up the GEC and Jantz Supply charts. I've got a busy work day today, but will try to have a look later
getting better Jack, thanks, slowly regaining the mobility and turning of my head right
Glad to hear it Jack, I've had similar things happen myself  I once dislocated my clavicle getting my keys off my belt

I have another OKC Seneca coming, also without a sheath. (I should have looked at the fine print instead of the pictures.) I've had this Seneca in the flap holster of my original 119, and my original 119 in the new leather 119 sheath. I bought the nylon 119 sheath for the $10 119 that must have done some time in a gravel pothole. That sheath is too narrow for the Seneca. I have another of those basket-weave patterned Mexican sheathes coming, which will do for the new Seneca, especially if I wet-form the throat.

The new leather 119 sheath works for the Seneca; you can shake the knife out but it isn't likely to slip out. But the new leather 119 sheath fits the 119 so beautifully... I think I'll switch them back.

That's an Olsen "Survival Knife" in the basket-weave. If it weren't an Olsen, I'd cut off that guard where it starts to curve back to strangle one's index finger. I might yet. It isn't going to make me rich either way.

I started to post this in "Fixed Blades", but since it's about the sheathes, it's a little off-topic there.
