Among other things, I'm busy switching operating systems from Win XP to Win 7 on two different computers this weekend.

So I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a warm Easter greeting...Traditional style. My warmest wishes to you and your families.

JUst split my sides laughing so much. Even Karen loved it.
 
Happy Easter! My loving cat chewed through the ethernet cable, the speaker wires and the monitor cable on my computer! Luckily I had more cables but I am so tired of the destruction. I love the cat but....

She is mostly a good cat but anything with a chord is a goner! Curtains, my strap on my binoculars ...which she pulled off the table, when I turned my back, and broke, now computer wires. If she gets a hold of a power chord.... I scold her and she is good for a week or two... She is no longer a kitten and I thought I trained her well. I have never played with strings with her. She gets all the loving in the world.

Tired of destruction in Austin!

Happy Easter! Maybe some hot pepper oil on the cables? Though being a Texas cat, she may like that.
 
Hey Gev, sorry to hear of your cats mis-behavior...Google Grannick's Bitter Apple, it is worth a try. I had a cat many years ago that would do the same, she would just gnaw away at power cords for some reason. Luckily she never shorted one out, but it was a major concern for me to say the least. Good luck to you!

Thank you and I will check that out! I am worried for her safety and a possible fire from a shorted power chord! Thanks, just needed to get it off my chest.

Reminds me of . . . . . . me. I have two puttie cats and I used to pull a string for them, but, they never chewed on cables. Who knows why they do what they do?

I was fishing this morning and spoke nicely to the dock kitty. It made a sound to acknowledge me and swished it's tail for a while. The back of my boat got blown near the dock a few minutes later and that little kitty jumped about 5 feet across the water into the back of my boat. I reckon it just wanted to be petted.:)
