"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

Happy birthday, Jack!!!

For your honor, I breakfasted on Thomas's English muffins and a nice cup of Twinings English breakfast tea!
Muffin sliced of course with a traditional knife.

God Save The Queen! And may you have many more to hoist a pint to.

As long as we're passing on well-wishes to deserving members such as Jack Black, I happened to notice that the esteemed Primble will celebrate the first anniversary of his forums membership tomorrow! Thanks for all that you contribute to this place, Primble!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you for all the very kind words friends, I really am very touched :)

That looks like a great breakfast Carl

I've not seen any of the Harry Potter films Meako, but I have been to several of the locations, including the stunning Glenfinnian Viaduct in the Scottish Highlands. While the steam train I was on on Saturday doesn't go over a viaduct, it passes through Goathland Station, which is used in the Harry Potter films. Here's a couple of pics of the train approaching Whitby.

A few more pics of Whitby itself here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Knife-Heading-For-The-Coast-(more-at-post-41) Unfortunately, after taking a few days off, I now have a load of work to catch up with, but if anyone would like to see some more of the place, I'll try to upload some more later

We stayed in a very nice apartment on Whitby's Royal Cresecent, next door to the house where Lucy stayed in Bram Stoker's Dracula, and just across the road from the Cook Memorial. Here's a view from the living room window - with added Charlow content ;)
