"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

My new favorite quote. Stephen Hunter just has to be a traditional knife lover, with a particular love of Case knives.:)

Book: Point of Impact
Author: Stephen Hunter

"Swiftly he got out his Case XX, still secure in the watch pocket of his Levi's, thanking God for a good Case knife that would hold an edge all down the many years and thanking God also for his own stubborn ways that made a small knife as much a part of daily dressing as boots and socks."

The adventures of Bob Lee Swagger are always a good read.:thumbup:

Can't remember who, but somebody has that quote in his signature line.

Everytime I see that knife, my finger starts itching!

"Itching fingers". It's a commonly used term around the forums, but every time somebody uses that phrase, music starts playing in my head...

Hi guys!

Well, I´m back after a long time. About one month or so. Me and my family are well. Son and wife, both. But we lost my wife´s grandma at the age of 81 some weeks ago and it was a hard time. This woman was an important point for her and it was a fast loss. So noone had the chance to say goodbye. We had to clean the house after she passed away and a lot of things had to be done.

No health issues on side, this time. :)

Thanks for all the great folks about asking about my condition. But this time it wasn´t me.

... It doesn´t not seem to be our year. I wish it would be end of december.

Sorry for your loss Andi, but it's good to see you here my friend
