Carry two knives?

I usually carry a SE and a PE, and then my keychain SAK.

And sometimes a Vic Cadet or my SOG PowerAssist.

So technically, sometimes 4 or 5 blades but only usually 2 or 3 actual knives.

Sometimes I carry two just so that I can have more "toys" to play with, especially if I just got a new one or two.

Sometimes I feel like carrying a fixed blade, but will not leave out my good folder, I keep that no matter what.

Or take, for example, I'm carrying the Bm Infidel, which has no utility purposes, I'd probably want a knife to do some hard work with, as well.

I've been carrying my SMF in a belt sheath, and my SNG in pocket lately. Mostly because they are botn new and I like to play with them when I get the chance.

I carry a multitool paired with a knife most of the time. The multitools are either a Victorinox Spirit or a LM Juice Pro. The companion knife is either a small traditional slipjoint, a bigger locking folder, or a small fixed.

I collect knives, that is what I do. I don't golf, or play team sports, I don't collect coins or stamps or teddy bears. Knives are what I spend my money on. So as a result of my particular spending habits, I have a small SAK on my car keys, another, and a Swiss key on my house keys, a subcom as a money clip, a SAK soldier in one pocket, and a mini champ in the other pocket, the I usually carry 1-3 (out of over 200) other knives fixed or folder depending on jeans shorts or cargo pants. (more pockets=more knives) then there is a Spyderco Massad Ayoob or P'kal somewhere on me just in case. (anybody still keeping count?) this for no other reason than that I like knives. I had three on me in my tuxedo on my wedding day. Truth be told some days I really have to look to find a reason to cut something.

I don't carry that many because I think the end of the world is coming, or that I will need to "BUG OUT", or even for my own personal safety. I carry them because I collect them, I have an insatiable compulsion to buy them, and I like to play with them, I give them away as gifts. Lets see you carry that many teddy bears on a daily basis. (LEOs may still throw you in a rubber room if you do)

ps all my friends and co workers think I'm nuts, but I am still the first person they look for when something needs cutting.

I always carry two knives on me. One multi tool to have more options for use, and to lend out if someone needs to borrow a knife. My other knife is usually a small fixed blade (Koster W&SS knife or Koyote necker), which never gets lent out. I like to have a backup just in case also.
