Carrying a multitool and a knife...

Overkill no doubt, but I always carry a Leatherman on my belt. Either an old original from about 1985 or a current model Wave. I also carry a Spyderco Endura clipped IWB and usually a SAK of some sort in my left pocket. I can't remember using the blade on the Leatherman, the Spyderco is too handy. Probably use the toothpick more than an other "tool" on the SAK.

+1

Benchmade Mini-Grip 556 riding in my left pocket (no clip)
Leatherman PST riding in my right pocket

I sorta change things up from time to time and haven't been carrying a multi tool lately...

my multi-tool of choice at the moment is a Leatherman Juice s2 carried in pouch on belt, along side of a fixed blade of preference for that day/week/month..

sometimes no fixed on belt, but maybe around the neck, or a folder in the pocket..

realistically an SAK or a multi-tool is all a person really needs, but most of us are sick and twisted and like to carry a BUNCH of stuff:D

I tried this out for a day or so just cuz I wanted to :D

RFP has the knife, LFP has a Wave. Used to be a Powerlock, until I lost it. I don't like sheaths, plus no belt when I wear jeans.

Carry my Leatherman, Vic Explorer +, Fenix LD15, and Ladybug H1 on my keys o.o also with a mini sharpie and a stainless peanut lighter.

victorinox super tinker in back left pocket. spyderco tenacious clipped to right front pocket. or whatever folder suits me that day.

I have my Leatherman Blast horizontally on my belt in its nylon sheath and with it, I carry either a CRKT Bear Claw on my neck, a Leatherman E302 in my right front pocket or my SOG Blink in my front left pocket.

I carry my Leatherman Wave and ZT 0301...Both in horizontal belt-sheaths.

Usually I carry a Leatherman wave in a cordura belt pouch and a Victorinox electrician in my right front pocket (inside a thin leather pouch to prevent lint going into the SAK).

I find this setup to be a good mix for all-around tasks.

Jaime Orozco.

I carry a leatherman wave on my MAN PURSE and a SOG Visionary I or Mini-Grip or Delica 4 FFG on my pocket. I also carry the bits for the wave, as many tasks are related with screwdrivers.

I have a multitool in a pouch on each hip - on the left hip is my old Leatherman Wave, on the right hip is my Victorinox Cybertool 34. In my inside jacket pocket is my Leatherman K502x which is a knife based multi-tool. I don't carry an actual knife every day because a knife is a weapon and therefore illegal, the K502x is probably borderline and therefore I wouldn't get in out in front of others unless I really needed to.

If carrying knives was legal here then I'd carry my Endura or RAT-1 as well as my LM Wave & Vic Cybertool.

Knife always in right front pocket, Leatherman in car and another in the day bag on weekdays.

I used to carry my Sebenza in my front right pocket and a Skeletool CX back right. It was a really great combination — a spare beater semi-serrated blade, small pliers, and a bottle opener, and slim enough that I didn't notice it when I was seated.

Not entirely sure why I stopped, come to think of it… I shifted to carrying a Charge TTi in a bag, which (practically speaking) means it's never to hand when I need it.

If only the Skeletool had a smoother action…

For me, it truly depends.

If I am carrying a Leatherman Charge, I probably won't carry an extra EDC blade. This is because it has a premium steel one hand opening blade.

If I am carrying a Victorinox SwissTool or Spirit then I will carry an extra knife. I really like having the ability to open a knife blade one handed while having something in the other hand.

leatherman micra on my keychain and a small sebenza 21 inside-waistband about 5 inches to the right of my pants button if im looking down.

i have a leatherman wave, but dont carry it. for me personally, with my lifestyle and career, my micra does everything i'd need out of multi-tool.

Used to carry a small sebenza in right front pocket; now carry the new Victorinox Soldier with the lockable blades. It has most of the stuff that my Supertool has, except for the pliers (which I never use), and is also much lighter. Two thumbs up for the vic soldier!!

For work a Benchmade 710 in my front right pocket, and a Leatherman in the coin pocket. Sometimes the Leatherman rides in a sheath on my belt, but lately I have found the coin pocket carry more comfortable.

I carry a leatherman wave and RC 3, both on my belt, right side.....everyday.....
