Carrying a multitool and a knife...

swiss tool and a folder for me
MT in either belt sheath, waist bag pocket or jacket pocket
slipjoint in the front pocket

I always have my skeletool weakside front pocket, since I'm a lefty this works great cuz I can have my large folder strong side......usually my 710, 610, Recon 1, military, Etc,etc......Off work I always have those two plus small fixedblade horizontal crossdraw on the hip.

I always have my Swiss Tool on my belt. Usually I will also have a knife as well but honestly the one tool on my multi tool that rarely sees use is the blade. I don't really even think about it as having one and carry it for the other tools primarily.

I carry a LM wave with the nylon sheath and bit kit.
I usually have a folder or 2 clipped in my pocket. The wave gets carried horizontally on my belt at the right side, I prefer horizontal carry on my belt, much more comfortable.

I carried a Leatherman Wave along side a regular folder for a long time, but have since given up on the Wave. I found that I didn't often need the multitool, and pretty much any time I did, I was near enough to one of my toolboxes that I could easily go for a more robust, conventional version of what was on the Wave.

I've swapped out the wave for a keychain with a little LED light, a Victorinox classic and one of those little prybars from Countycomm and find that fits my needs better these days

I normally carry a Ritter Griptilian (Large or Mini), a Leatherman Mini-Tool and a Novatac 120P flashlight on my belt.
The Leatherman Mini is great because it's Full sized pliers in a mini sized package.
Unfortunately, they have discontinued this model and mine grows tired.
So, I've been on the hunt for a new set of full sized pliers in a mini package. I have found nothing to fit that description so far.:(

I seem to always have at least a med folding knife in my pocket or clipped to. As well as a multitool such as my LM Skeletool CX or VIC Champion Plus. It's way easier with cold weather, my jackets have lots of pockets....:D

Belt pouch, BM 710D2 (or whatever other folder I want to carry)--My 'everything' carry, used for most cutting jobs and not really caring if it gets dirty.

Belt pouch #2, Victorinox Spirit, carried for the larger pliers and more specific tools for larger jobs (i.e. working on a car, etc) and it does have some acceptance amongst sheeple. sometimes replaced with an old Vic RS or Leatherman ole skool Wave.

Belt pouch #3, Vic Champion Plus, my totally politically correct knife. I can carry that most places without worry and use it for small jobs as cutting food or nothing too dirty. Plus, the mag glass has been used a bit and the writing pen is great for quick marks.

It may seem as okverkill by some, but this setup, IMHO, has me prepared for just about anything. (zombies are a different story).

I just about always carry my old school Leatherman Supertool on my belt (left side) and a Spyderco (or some other folder) clipped to my front )right) pocket. When I need a knife, I want it now but if I needed pliers or a screwdriver I can wait a second or two.

The last couple days I've carried my newly acquired Charge ALX in my left front pocket with my Blackberry, and a Case single blade mini hunter in the watch pocket. It works pretty good, the Charge isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. We'll see how long it lasts though since I sit at a desk all day and VERY rarely need a multitool. :D

VERY rarely need a multitool. :D

Well you never need one until you need one and then if you don't carry one every day you find yourself caught short. I rarely need most of what I carry, but then when I have a need I have the suitable tool available.

I always carry a multitool or SAK, they're just too handy to be without and see a lot of use. In my urban / every day environment, a folding knife is only there if I want to. For camping I take a fixed blade knife with me.

Hello Bladeforums!
I always have a straight edge Leatherman Skeletool CX in my front right pocket. It has replaced my pocket knives which I stopped carrying a year ago. If I have a knife with me it is a fixed blade. I also own a Wave but fint it's too heavy for EDC. It comes along in a backpack sometimes or around the house.

The Skeletool really is a good everydaycarry. It's a great knife. (unlike the Juice which requires you to carry a separate folder)

SOG PowerLock. I replaced the knife blade for a while with something else. Wire stripper I think. Then bought a serrated blade for the PL since I never carry a serrated knife. Now the multi-tool has the serrated blade if I want it.

EDC small Spyderco in front pocket and SOG Tomcat on my belt in case I need a larger knive.

That's most of the time. Sometimes I loose the PL and Tomcat and just carry a small EDC.
