Case Bose 2017 knife

Love that eureka jack in chestnut...I'll probably have to pick up the tribal lock in pocket worn bone too.

Thanks, Jake.
I came across a picture of a Bose EJ that was listed at 3 9/16" while searching for more info, so it will most likely be in the 3 1/2" range. Like you, I'm assuming the Case pattern will be pretty close to his original.
Regardless, I am just in love with that knife. That diamond shield looks great, and the ebony is, as always, very classy.

The Tribal Lock looks very similar to the Copperlock, just with a different blade. Fine with that as I like the Copperlock.

I thought these looked so much like the mini-copperlocks Case manufactures now but putting on my glasses and reading the print on the side panel I see they are the full size model, meaning over four inches closed. Excellent!

Super top secret images provided by the Russians coming from the shot show :) Midlock Tribal Spear (Tribal Lock:rolleyes:) will be a regular catalog item and the collaboration knife is the Eureka Jack...FINALLY!

Hello Kerry. Do you happen to have any prototype pull apart photos of the Eureka Jack or Lockback Zulu? I look forward to those pics as much as I do the news of a new Tony Bose / Case knife.
Thank you,
Nathan

Expected Ship Date:* August is what I saw posted for the Tribal Lock. Marked as SS for the blade.

I'd assume the Eureka is in the 3 5/8 to 3 7/8 range. That seems to be the Bose sweet spot as far as multi blade patterns are concerned. Either way, I'll get one.

Would that be true of the Eureka ? I saw someone above say ~3.5+

I think Bose pattern Eureka is 3-5/8"

I guess this is Case's response to the GEC copy. I hope someone posts a comparison review.

Which one of the GEC copies? What are you suggesting? The linked sale of the Bose Eureka Jack on the Exchange predates the GEC Eureka by one year and that wasn't Tony's first.

Wow, he even had a pattern called the Northfield whittler.
Great reference materials, thanks Jake.

Tony's patterns are from old knives , and true to the originals.

Thank you, Josh and Vince. Josh and I spoke about collecting the antique Northfields so I'm not surprised that caught his eye ! Maybe that pattern will come up next year. ;) I always look forward to these collaboration knives. They're a real treat for me.

Great new contributions. Would definitely like to own at least one of each.

Me too !

I slipped a cog, I meant to say, it'll be nice to see a comparison with the GEC-made, Nothwoods Zulu.

Well, looks like I'll be buying my first Bose/ case collaboration knife this year.
I better start saving...

I could go there.
Just when I said I wasn't going to buy any more knives . . .

No pocket clip . . . right ?
