All choice, but that Penknife Just wish CASE would issue some current Pens in something other than Yellow D real waste as they're beautiful small carries.

The red dye that Case used was banned as carcinogenic in its liquid form (maybe it was the solvents?)!! They have come close, but never matched the old colors completely!! I can't remember when that was!!?? About the time the same thing was happening to maraschino cherries maybe??!!

Edit: Red dye number 2 (containing "amaranth") was banned in 1976, after a soviet study found it may have been carcinogenic! Lots more info in Google!!

Some outstanding knives everyone.
I own only one but have 3 pictures to show of it. A 6232 medium Texas jack that I got about a year ago.

Thanks Charlie. I appreciate the date info, the well respected dealer I purchased it from gave me the age info but I seemed to have misplaced where I wrote it down.
