In trying to do my best to help out a great American company,I've been buying these at a consistent "one a month" for the past 4 months.I really like this simple design. It practically disappears in my pocket & feels great in the hand.I find these work very well for light tasks.

left to right-

Burnt Barnboard/SS - Brown Delrin/SS - Yellow Delrin/CV - Jigged Redbone/CV

I'm going to get the G10 & the Bermuda Green ones next.:)

I went out with the sole purpose of buying a Case last weekend to show support and ended up with a CV Slimline Trapper. I love it, not as bulky as the full size amber bone CV i've got but plenty substantial for EDC nonetheless. Where did you find the red bone CV?

I have it as a "saved search" on ebay.I found it there.

Some places have the Redbone/CV's for $50+.That's a little too much IMO.I got this one for around $40.

I wish they made a CV Bermuda Green one,or even better a Stag CV slimline...that would be sweet!

That's alright though,I'll get the SS Bermuda anyway.

I have been wanting one . I just bought a black g-10 mini trapper and a amber bone one. I better wait a little while before i buy one.The wife just quit her job.

Thanks JTR357, I would love to see Case produce more CV with bone combos. I like the SS as well, but really dig the CV color that develops.

It's a very fine pattern in my view, slices exactly how you want it to. Not just for light tasks either.

The G-10 is a very desirable knife, modern yet it suits an old pattern, the blade is matte too which is right for it! Bermuda Green is also a favourite of mine. These CASE knives go well with the Queen Cutlery equivalent-Utility knife when you fancy D2 instead.

That's funny you should say that.I have one on the way!;):D

I have a Brown Delrin SS model. It's definitely nice, but I personally find the handle too thin, whereas something like a stockman feels good in the hand.

I like this pattern. I don't have any Case but do have some Queen #11s.

Some nice Queens.....
How old is that Winterbottom?

I have one in Carved Stagbone, Maple and Forest Edge (Winterbottom in Brown Delrin)

The slimline trapper is one of my favorite Case patterns. Very slim and elegant. Unfortunately, the blades are too long for me to carry legally. Otherwise, I'd probably have more of them.

:eek:Whoa!That's a nice one Thomason!

I just got the Queen Utility in the mail.I took a quick pic of it next to the Case Redbone. They are exactly the same size, though the Queen's 'snap' isn't as pronounced as the Case's.It came typical Queen dull, but a few minutes on the coarse diamond rods took care of that.

My current favorite pattern, and has been for a couple of years now. I've got a half dozen from different makers. I usually have the Queen Utility Knife in my pocket these days.

I've always wanted one of those 1999 Case/Bose knives, but never quite enough to seek one out.

My Queen Utility (well both of them,CSB and ACSB)have mighty snap just as I like them! Tang edges are a bit sharp on the pocket though.

Although a slim knife the jigging on the bone makes for a sure grip, same with the CASE Bermuda Green.

Would be good to have this kind of knife with popcorn matched stag eh?

Is it so that CASE makes these in Chestnut Bone too? Or was this another one of my mad day-dreams.....
