If you ever have the desire to add a second stockman, I think the sowbelly is the highest quality regular production knife Case makes.

and my SS oak stockman, also no half stops....it appears it's becoming unanimous....

I wish Case would make all of their sowbellies with the option of CV steel... I like the sycamore, but I would prefer CV. I bought my oak just because I got it at a good price, and it takes a really nice edge, as do most of their SS blades.

Here is one of my case sowbelly.it started out as a yellow Derlin cover in CV steel. Thanks to @jsdistin it now has OD canvas micarta covers with a bullet shield. It is in my pocket everyday and has no half stop

I believe it is Red & Black fiber weave. The blades are CV. There are still some out there.

My favorite Case knife to date, F&F near perfect, only thing I did was take a little off the back of spey blade to make it a little more pointy. I really like the dye job on these covers as well.
