Looks nice, Ed. If it’s anything like the quality of my Eureka, I think you’ll really enjoy it.

The shape of the clip main on this knife is very distinct and arresting. I have no idea why this pattern wasn't a better seller.

I bet. That looks like a knife that would make its presence known in your pocket.
It does that. I'm used to the medium stockman, and the like, so this turned out to be a little larger than I like. I have two & I mostly carry them in a small leather belt pouch. I find that it's no more bother getting it out of the pouch than it is digging it out of my pocket. Maybe even more convenient in some cases.

Does anyone have any intel on the release of the Old Dog model?

I think I saw a video from blade show that said fall, but thought maybe someone might have better info than that.

Is it a trapper? I just "googled" Case Old Dog Knife & a couple listed as "2021 SFO Tony Bose Old Dog Panama Trapper" showed up on that big auction site.

That's some beautiful bone 🤩
Brown isn't it? Were they out of chestnut? Or do you have one of those too? I know you're partial the chestnut.
Thanks Mike. It is brown. I was looking at getting a chestnut when this one came up on the exchange at a nice price so I couldn’t pass it up. I do love chestnut but a guy has to have SOME variety! 😄

That's nice! I really like my Eureka. It has a couple very useful blades, and is super pocket friendly. You hardly even know it's there.
Very true. 👍 I love the little Wharncliffe, probably use it more than the spear.
