Case Yellow Handles - Yea or Nay

Oh heck!! I'm was too curt and short. I could only picture "Old Yeller" sitting by the curb sopping wet in the rain with no family or home to go to and nothing to eat and my mind snapped. I hope this doesn't mean that our engagement is off.

Just keep looking at the pictured trapper and maybe you'll change your mind.

I found her on a rainy day, chained to a post outside a dog pound (they didn't have a crate big enough). She was 30 lbs under weight.

I'd have to say yes.

This is always in my back pocket next to my wallet. The spey is as good as a straight razor. I love CV.

I like them. Not my first choice but I wouldnt let it be a reason to not get a pattern I was looking for.

I don't mind the Case yellow, but I really prefer the older Case yellow. I'm not sure why they changed over the years, but the older ones were more vibrant.

Case has done a great job of listening to knife nuts, and has been adding more models with CV, over the last couple years

Big and little and a cold one. Yes I like the yaller knives, just wish I could bring back some of the good times they remind me of.

I like the yellow but it is easy to dye the handles with a little RIT dye. There is a tutorial on this somewhere on site. Can do bone handles too. The ones I saw turned out great.

I don't think that's practical seeing as how delrin and plastic are non-pourous (sp?) but it would be fine for bone or stag. Good thought though.

To me, it's a classic look. The med Case stockman is my "outdoors" pocket knife.

Actually delrin dyes great. I have a yellow peanut that I dyed orange for camping. Easy to do and fun. I'm traveling now but will post a picture on Friday when I get back. Until I did it I would have agreed with you BTW

You don't really have a collection until you have something in yellow. Of course this is debatable.

Hmm - ya learn something everyday. Yes, I'd like to see a picture of what you've done. Not for proof - just to see it. Thanks

Yellow Case? Heck yeah!

Not fancy, not too expensive and there's just something right about it...

Not my only yellow fellow, but probably my favorite.

There is some of the older Case yellow I mentioned earlier. Thanks Jason.
It looks totally different than the current offerings. Not sure what, or why they changed though

Now that is the sort of yellow that I like. The pale yellow on the newer Case knives = meh.
