"Castaway" blade?

I'm not set on the movie plot. My point is that you need a reliable edc knife. Guess that's not really the point of this post. Maybe I'm just grouchy today.
 
M current favorite one knife only is the SAR 8 I just picked up. It lighter than other 8" knives I've handled

I love SAR 8 - I have also done some lighter chopping and de-limbing with it and you can bang your knuckles pretty good depending on angles in terms of what you are what you are trying to get to. Just my experience with it for a decent amount of work one day in the yard.

knuckles stick out past guard/talon hole pretty good and I don't have huge hands - the handle flares out towards guard pushing knuckles out even further...

Just did a quick count. Winner so far is Dog Soldier 8 with 4 votes, followed by ASH2 with three, and KZII / TTKZ combined also got three. Axe Hammer, BB13, TG/TGLB and SHBM each got 2. Everything else got 1 so far.

Makes me want to get a DS8 now since I originally passed it up.
