CBM's - Customized Benchmade's

I put barrel spacers on the 555. Should of took pics of them (slaps head).

Hey Atony, Could you email me where you got the barrel spacers? I was thinking of doing the same thing.

BTW, I really like the way the satin blade of the 555 looks with the polished accents of those Ti WilkinsGrips. Looking good.

DeathofallThings made them for me awhile back. I had to drill them out so the Wilkins screws would go through them, it worked out pretty good.

Just got her back today, and I could not be more impressed with Keymans work on these. They feel so natural and comfortable in the hand you don't want to put it down. I really like the added thickness of the 3/16" scales as opposed to the factory 1/8", it really fits my hand well and feels just right. Also, the grip is wonderful, not abrasive like the original scales. +10 for Keymans work, now what other benchmades can I send him....

Hey, anyone know the size of the factory pivot pin and screw. I want to get some titanium ones but don't know the sizes

Here is my new one. Love it. It does have a touch of up and down if I try and muscle some in. Although I can't tell if this is just the axis shifting some. As it mainly seems downward only. Any tips from the experts? It is fresh out of the box so I figure the locking faces could use some mating or it could be oil.

That's pretty nice KM! What about the black one gold? I'm dying to see that one when you get done with it. How's the weight and texture?

Thanks RE.
I haven't used the B&G yet.
I can't decide what model I'm gonna put it on....maybe my LE525 in M4.
The black blade should look pretty good with the B&G, classy like.
Weight for this stuff is nothin', it's light.
The texture is what you choose.
For great color and detail; 600 grit and then a good polish is in order.
It is very smooth.
With a 320 grit finish, you can still see the waves of color and there will be a rougher texture to the surface.
But with that degree of finish, the color is at a minimum and the color is what really pops here.

Some progress to share! This was the first test fit. Still had to coat the scales and checker the presentation side. The coating is now almost complete but I don't have pics yet. I'll probably checker it Monday.

These are fantastic. What type of material are these scales made out of and what other colors are available?

It's called Juma.
They make three of what they call "Exotic colors".
This particular "Exotic color" is called Ivory Snake.
Two other "Exotic colors" they make are Red Carnelian and Golden Dragon.
They also make Solid colors Gray, Green, Orange, Ivory and Black.
