    Concerning the three "dimples" in each scale; is there a functional reason for these?

    Three Dimples?
    I put 12 dimples per side.
    These dimples provide you with a very positive grip.
    Off the record......I call them meat pockets.
    When you grip the knife, the meat of your hand goes into these little pockets, virtualy anchoring the knife to your hand.
    Plus it just makes the scales pop......visually that is. :D

    I like em. I think they are calling to be tried on the carbon/toxic green layered scales from the earlier pic.
