Oh my... I like this handle (looks like snake skin!)~
What is the material for this handle? Is it a g10? If not, how does it fare as far as sturdiness of this handle go vs. a g10 handle? (how about comparison between this handle and thestock handle that the Griptillian came with?) I am interested in this handle for my Griptillan. If you dont mind telling me, what is the cost? And do you provide the screws and the parts to assemble the handle or do you just send the handle? Thanks in advance

How would I contact the handle maker? I am interested in one of the handles for my Griptillian

You are not a paying member so PM's are a no go.
For me an email would work just fine.

I sent you a PM and and email just before Christmas regarding some 710 work. Should I send another PM?
Thanks,

Sorry to hear about your struggle with the situation. I completely understand. Its too bad, because some of your works were alot more interesting and looking than alot of the custom handles available from online custom company sources. I will shoot a PM once I decide to become a paying member of this site. I just dont have much reason to (other than being able to send PM) since I am not a knife seller. But I do enjoy this site, so I will definitely contribute by becoming a paying member in near future. Until then, I hope your situation become stable.

Well, I took inspiration from a thread on the Benchmade forum site and stripped my HK-14716. I took it a bit further and accented the liners, thumb studs ans pocket clip. I left more black on the blade and electically etched the logos.

That looks pretty epic. Looks fantastic! Did you replace the scales, too? I thought they were black.

No, these are factory. It is offered in black or sand.

Although, I have considered sanding 0.014" off the scales and add lime green, orange or yellow liners for pinstripes. Seeing how I have owned the knife for about three days ans worked on it over two days, I will take a break before I created another project.

Nice work. REALLY nice work.

First time having custom scales on a grip. I like it :D

That handle looks similar to the CPM M4 PM2's stock handle. I like the ivory-like color to it. Would you be kind enough to tell me where you got that handle? I am also looking into getting a custom handle for my Griptillian.

They are Wilkins Grips, made by Kevin Wilkins in Germany. They are a bit pricey but they totally redesign the ergonomics, I find mine more comfortable with Wilkins Grips.

I'm no professional, but I stripped the black blade costing off this baby and acid/stone washed it. The black was looking rough so I think it's an improvement.
