Chad Williams aka Ranger288 is NO GOOD!

Bladeforums.com isn't responsible for the trades, it's basicly a caveat emptor just like eBay is. You've got steps you can take to insure your dealings, that are far more effective than Bladeforums could be anyhow.

If you bought a computer from the classifieds of New York Times or Washington Journal, and it was dead after 3 hours, you would'nt be phoning the editor ;)

I would like to think the members here respect each other at a higher level then say the readers of the NY Times.

I certainly do not fault the moderators or expect them to police this. This is up to each and every member to accept the notion that a deal is not a deal until both parties say it's a deal.

If not, then the risks are exactly the same as answering a for sale classified out of a newspaper.

modelman38, let me assure ya, trading/etc on BF is as problem free as ya get on the 'net, MUCH better than other forums i have bought/swapped/sold from, i would offer ya my guarantee that 99+ of every 100 transactions go smooth, i have done, well, dozens with NO problems ever, follow the reccomended procedure and ya wont have probs.

VERY few on BF are out and out thieves, and they get weeded out fast. i think this thread will tell ya that, and a lot of these guys will do all thats possible to help you recoup your loss if the worst happens.

if ya trade/etc anywhere on the net, BF is certainly worth the risk

No, there was no internet before Al Gore. ;)
