Well guess I dont qualify for the giveaway as I don’t have no idea bout the porch nor do I have 100 post I think. I just read here some. Post occasionally. Mostly read. But I think it’s cool you’re working on getting it all straightened out. The big thing in my life is when I decided to live my life for God. I’ve had a few rougher patches but a relationship with Jesus Christ is the life changer for me.

I guess the biggest thing I ever overcame was being complacent in my crap job and going back to school in my last 20s, taking a very difficult program and succeeding. I had been working in a call center for 5 years and was comfortably in a work>hang out>sleep rut. It was a very hard decision to leave the job, move to a new city and enroll in a difficult program that had a 50%+ failure rate. I was at the point where I knew that if I didn't get through it, I'd probably be just surviving the rest of my life. So I bucked up and put in 100% effort, I ended up on the Dean list and got a great job out of it. Now I have a wife, two kids and still have enough disposable income to keep my knife addiction going.

Good Morning.

I will leave this open until noon EST. Then I will sort and assign numbers to all entries. Since there's multiples for some, I will assign 11-X for all single entries, then I will assign multiples in the same fashion, until I reach the end of entries. I am going to handwrite entries and numbers. I will then roll dice, on the paper of handwritten entries, with the time on my iPad - in the video - to signify when I rolled the dice. I will film all this with my iPhone. I will do this @1300 hrs sharp.

I've been playing with the random generators, and I don't trust their randomness; therefore, I trust the dice's randomness, in comparison. Talk to y'all soon.

HST, your story is impressive and inspiring! Congratulations on your life changes. Not really an entry but I guess for me it was my starting to run around the neighborhood after the "Summer of Snacking" also known as the summer of 2020. So far I am down 25 lbs and looking for more weight to come off.

To all, I have a made a low coffee error. There is no real way to roll the dice due to the entries. Dice are 1 through 6, I'm a dummy. I will reluctantly have use something off the internet and make a video. All times will remain the same.

If there's a preferred or well-liked number generator, please speak up.

I will go with single entries and that will be if you're nominated first or replied first. After that, in order of who is nominated or replied will go next. Some had more than others and they be in order of nomination until all are in. Going to draw now.

I have to say I'm thrilled and honored. As I said in a message I hope the generosity I've experienced on The Porch translates to everyone's life. You guys and gals have been a shining star to me when it seemed like there was always a black cloud following me around. I will do my best in my life to deserve all your kindness.
