^ That's nice Primble, very nice in fact! I like the look when the grain doesn't run parallel to the knife. I'm guessing only C.C. and GEC know the current totals for 2015, but here's my two (plus my other three - I am SO proud to own these knives!). I am in love with "Pablo" (Picasso) my new palo santo!:)

Knife photos courtesy of Jon Slider, original author of the Charlow Barlow History thread.

On the label - it appears that Tom has taken on a "King of Rock" look, complete with Muttonchop sideburns, gained a golden halo, and is stirring a pot of Mutton Stew. Notice those blue suede shoes that Huck is sporting. A pair of sheep seem to have an interest in the boys, or possibly just the smell of the stew. 👍:D

The blue suede pocket slip was a very nice touch, however, is not moisture proof and should not be carried during times when one is not quite his/her normal self, if you know what I mean. ;):D

The theme for this release came from an appreciation of Elvis Presley music, by Charlie C., and from a very young age, it appears. ;):D

I am with him, regarding the appreciation of the m-m-m-music. ;):D

* The release numbers will be added to this post at a later date. ;)

You got the entire herd, Primble! Quite the score and beautiful pics as well!

Perry - those knife photos were submitted by Jon Slider, in a round about way, they made it to the appropriate thread. My sheep farm increased by only ONE - for now. ;):D

( BUT - I did come up with some of the more rare old models that had eluded me, while everybody else was sheep huntin' and had their backs turned ! Even a copperhead. ;))

Goodness, well good for you! That's what I get for just looking at who posted and not fully reading the post.

Thank you guys for the congrats - I thought I was on a bad run of luck lately, which soon ran into a lucky streak, for certain !!! Describes the life of a knife collector, I suppose ! :)

From the 1st Run (Harness Maker Label), Genuine Barlow etch and PPP etch Spearpoint Blade with Long Pull, the Ebony is Macassar:

152112LP
Ebony Wood 57 pcs. no serial numbers

That Macassar is stunning!! Really fine specimen. There's something simply dignified and historic about that grade of Macassar. Looks like it could be well older than that penny in the photo.

Just wanted to drop in and say that this has been an incredible thread. There's so much to learn about traditional knives! I just purchased my first TC today (a modified Beerlow). And I can't wait to see even more TCs hit the dealers in 2015.
