Charlow Barlow History

Perry - thanks for the comment on the Production list. It has helped me to see what I want/need and add to my collection. I would guess it has done the same for other collectors. :)

From the 2015 (Mutton Stew label) run:

Rob, that is a great looking soup, mine hopefully will all arrive tomorrow and I'll begin to take better shots. Mine was, or is very Amber in color and was denoted so on the tube sticker by Chris. This is not a good shot either, shot in my hotel room but tomorrow hopefully I'll get a better one.

I will certainly add my thanks to you also Primble for refining the TC production list That along with your outstanding photos of TC folders have really helped and motivated me in my quest to find and buy these outstanding knives and where to focus my attention. Information when it comes to collecting is very valuable so many thanks for your contributions to our hobby! Lloyd

Speaking as a guy that just got his first ebonys this past weekend, I'm a bit in awe, Paul.:D

Nice seeing all five blades in the Black Woods! Great pics, Rob!

It seems like a comparison shot of the earlier Saddle Brown handles is in order, since Rob found that one-of-one Pen-behind in my collection, although how he got into my safe, I will never know??!!

<Top knife, the one-of-one.
<Middle knife, the Clip run where the handles originated.
<Bottom knife, the Day's Work Saddle brown, which was slightly darker than the clip run.

Thank you Perry, Paul, and Charlie for the comments on my Black woods. They are some of my very favorite TC Barlows. ;):)

Ha!!! Only one person can post that trio !:eek::eek::D:D

Does the one of one have a more secure/or preferred spot now ?:confused::p

I liked the original (richer) saddle brown just a tad more than the later color. My long pull clip and Days Work are quite a bit different - I like both of them though.

Thanks for showing the three in comparison Charlie.:thumbup::)

Here is the Spear Antique Yellow Perry. There was also a Sheepsfoot but mine doesn't have much yellow in it.
