Plenty of variety as far as knives out there. Keeps it fresh and lets people with different tastes enjoy EDCing a blade. I happen to find Striders aesthetically pleasing and they perform quite well.
That's why I enjoy knives as an art form, they all boil down to the same tool, but oh so many ways to get there!
Exactly! I seem to like just about everything knife-wise, some just more than others. They do have be well made.
Bingo! There is an underlying standard that all knives I enjoy
must meet. It isn't the same fo all knives, but there is a standard. I will never talk about bad quality knives from strider because they do make a very well made knife, but it's just ugly in my eyes. I have handled them, they do fit well, but function is the only aestetic they seem to pay attention to, not so much form.
Personally, I will never talk bad about anyones work
if they do quality work.. No matter what it is, or how I feel about them. One guy I have known for years, can't stand him, or trust him farther than I can throw him, but he is the best welder I know. I have actually fought the guy in years past, but I still won't talk crap about his work. He's just that good.
Now, don't get me started on this DFK guy, he is just a piece of work, I would never say I like his work publically

he's not even a normal human being! Sasquatch making knives, geeze(!) Who does he think he is?!
Btw, the teak rigger mkes a great steak knife! Used it today on my lunch
