Machete - St.Thomas is jungle on the part of the island I lived on. Everything has such dense vegetation you can't see into it even... machete to lightly clear trails, chop cuttings and dig holes. A small knife and trowel would have been fine too but I already had the machete. I was really into collecting wild plants at the time, I had 50 coconut palms for a while.

BTWthe real treasure island is just outside of St.Thomas and is now home to a boat bar called Willy T's... a fisherman went into a cave to seek shelter and found a stash of gold!

Get some Ti and go for the gold! I have white blisters from that stuff, it always gets me grinding it. You mean belts though, man that is tough!! Check that green grinding tape from USAKM too, it really works well if you use it!

Kevin, is that lake Audran? Looks a bit small, I know there is a tiny one close to there as well, about 1/100th the size of Echo Lake.

Thanks fast14riot, but I have no green card and live on the other side of the Atlantic, I'm starting to be my own boss (own business, economy ko)
I have a small business (currently I'm the only employee) but will I need to hire someone.
 
I have a small business electricity, repairs and new installations (industry and households). Do not know how to explain in English.
Another line of my business are computer networks (wired only) and fiber optics.
 
Sounds like an electrical contractor, or a certified electrician.

Good line of work. I did lots of that work myself when I was working in construction.

I worked for years in electrical distribution lines, my specialty is underground lines (110 KV and 20 KV).
But I have a back injury and I can not do this work.
I do not understand that in USA much wood is used in building houses.
 
Well, just had an earthquake a couple minutes ago. Been a while. Magnitude 5.7, 1.2Km deep at the epicenter, just a couple hours north of here. I kinda wish it would have lasted longer, I could have used a massaging bed for a bit, lol! Nothing compared to the infamous Loma-Prieta quake of '89, that was a rockin 'n rollin good time!

The quake isn't such a big deal. A 5.7 is a good size quake that can do some some structural damage to builings, but mostly knocks things off walls an shelves. It lasted about 10-12 seconds. They have reported as many as 13 aftershocks, but I haven't felt any of those. Funny, some of my family in th mid west is terrified of earthquakes, but tornados are no big deal to them! There will be a tornado every year, but earthquakes are only every so often!

Gonna be a crazy day at work this morning, I have to place our two biggest orders and they have to be done by noon, while I do not have a cashier to cover the floor for me. Gonna be lots of running around this morning.
