Kevin it was great talking to you! You will go far in knifemaking!

My friend who does well making and selling lampwork had the best advice... spend 40 hours a week working. Good advice for anyone working at their home!

Kevin, no worries bro. I know that if I don't come over and kick you in the shin, its just gonna be your wife doing it and that's never good for ones health, lol!


Boring day today, but I am staying busy. Contemplating a new pet, one of my friends needs to get rid of her bearded dragon. They are cool lizards, not much maintenance and actually have a personality (sort of). Don't know though, gotta see how the kid will do with it, don't want to bring it home and have Zyler be terrified of it, lol!

I know its crazy but my company handbook has some ridiculous rules in it. Besides the "no major knife production" rule there is also a "no break dancing on the front counters" and also "all small animal racing will be judged by a recognized official on site."

:D Those are tough rules! All of that stuff goes on in the knife shop!
 
Let me know if you're having any issues using that lens. I tested it before I sent it and it was working good fr me. Hope you found all the little stuff in the camera bag as well.

Working on the mini sub-hilt this morning, grinding the bevels in. My fingers hurt! Just holding this thing and the vibration from the disc grinder make it tough on the hands!

I'm just in from the shop not too long ago...

I owe you guys some pics! Some are not too far off.

Today I worked more on stuff I have posted before, I should have them up for sale soon.

I also worked on a knife with bolsters this evening to try a new tapping technique... long story short this one should be cool!
 
I get caught up in the shop from time to time, either inspiration or bills, lol! What keeps me going is you guys!

Xander I don't need to say it but damn! ...the subhilt is looking good!
 
Morning crew.

Another day at work for me while the wife and kid are out on the jet ski with grandma and grandpa. Oh well, I'm not fond of jet skis much, anyways.

I brought some paracord, my spike and fid, and the ABoK with me to kill some time today. Gonna try something new!
