Yeah, hunting, harvesting, testing the sharpening stones was fun. The waterstone is a bit on the soft side, so don't really dig into it or it will dish. I was using the white stone as a "steel" more or less, it doesn't really have the abrasiveness of a hone, but it very hard and works well for polishing the edge. But, this is how I was using them, feel free to experiment and try different things.
I have used the wet stone with a splash or two of water, but it builds a slurry very quick and just soaks up the water.
I'm glad the three dogs are being taken care of, its a shame that someone tought they could just drop them off like that. I have always owned pure bred dogs, until my current one. But all my dogs were working/hunting dogs and we prefered to know the lineage and traits of the dogs as well as any health history issues. Radar, is a good dog, but not for hunting, lol! I haven't bird hunted in a while, but I know he has zero instinct for it, but with small game he's killer!
Daniel, I don't think parasitic drag is the correct term, but form drag is lower due to there being one less shoulder, if that's what you're referring to. Unless your blades come with fleas and lice due to being made by Sasquatch!
Hey Rolf, g'marnin! Hope the bali is coming along now!
