BBQ - Nice! We had a long winter and I'm trying to make up for it by barbequing a lot. :D

What's going on with fishing season? I'm hoping to do some trout fishing soon, I haven't gone in years.
 
Nothing wrong with the fishing season.
With 32 years'm getting old for carrying fishing equipment here in the mountains and are very difficult to climb the mountain rivers.
What if I miss is hunting several years ago that I can not go.
 
I just googled images of Andorra, talk about beautiful terrain! The pics I saw remind me a lot of my area here in southwest Colorado.
 
We are one of the oldest countries in Europe.
As you can see on the map, we are in the Pyrenees.
We as Spanish and French neighbors but not part of the European Community.
Major industries are tourism (mostly English and Russian) and trade.
Until recently we were considered fiscal paradise, banks here are not required to identify customers.
We have good hunting and fishing (we hunt chamois, wild boar, roe deer and mouflon.'s Trout Fishing only)
In laws are something more advanced .... by law force me to have a gun at home for protection.
Free Sale shotguns and rifles, but handguns are highly regulated (a judge has to authorize you purchase)
The knives are not regulated, you can buy whatever you want but you can not import them.
We have one of the highest living standards in Europe and did not get to the 70,000 citizens.
In my case I am Andorran second generation (my grandparents are Spanish).
Although most used language is Spanish, Catalan is the official

I have many anecdotes about my nationality, you know how interesting it is to believe that your passport is false and be 19 hours in the detention room of an airport?
That in a sightseeing trip to Greece, or having to put your country on a map that border guards do not know where your country ....

Kermmak, I haven't looked it up, but sounds like you are in Basque region. I know there has been some turmoil with certain groups from that greater area in the past, but your specific region sounds delightful! You don't happen to own/ride an Orbea bicycle, do you?!

Daniel, don't forget to tell Sara to bring the camera back! Speaking of which, I finally have some cash in my paypal to get a working head for that tripod and send it over the mountains to ya. I know its been a while, but I'll try and get on that this weekend for sure. Haven't been able to go to the flea market in a while due to work, but I'm going tomorrow, maybe I can find something there.

Unless you want it as is and try to figure it out on your own. Either way, doesn't bother me. You might be able to make a camera plate, but I know your shop time is $$$ and playing with stuff doesn't pay!

In the Basque area? If on the other side of the Pyrenees, the exact area is Catalonia, about 600 km from the Basque area ....
The only orbea I ever had was a shotgun.

Hey thanks again Xander. No hurry here, just let me know if I can cover anything! :D So much appreciated!

Sara will get the camera back, I can't believe we left it. I might go by later today, they are on a cabin on an excellent trout fishing creek. I know bass fishing but need to catch some trout! Salmon run in the fall too...

Wow! In Texas they shut the emergency metal doors at the bank because we presented out passports for ID... the bank lady thought a passport had to be accompanied by a green card... why hit the panic button I do not know! ..it was weird to say the least and pretty funny too! I had moved from St.Thomas USVI and you can't really get ID there.

Beer! With the Teak Rigger for scale, I don't do things half-assed.

Bonus, the wife and kid are at her moms and haven't got home yet. I got Ratatat on the turn table, cranked up, windows open and am scratching my dog behind the ear. Life is good, even if just for a moment! Daniel, tell Sara thanx for sending Brandi the memo to go to moms house with the kid for the day, lol!

Actually, Zyler stayed the night at grandmas house last night, so I put on my dress clothes (DFK T-shirt and teak rigger!) and took Brandi out for Italian food.


If you don't hear from me in two days, just wait longer.

The rigger looked small then I realized, that's a big beer! :D The teak seems to have a cool patina, maybe just lighting but it's looking good. :D

Ratatat rocks! They are on my John Frusciante channel a lot, good stuff.
