Evening gents. Fresh off the battle lines, training future generations of, well... me. It's orientation week, which mostly means answering the same questions over and over again... I have a headache.

Got a new knife today, made by another maker here on BF. Neat little piece.
 
Morning y'all!

Did some rat hunting last night, mostly I use it as an excuse to sit outside on a nice night with a bottle of rum and my pellet gun. Sure was a nice night last night!

Day off today, takin the wife's Honda in for some warranty recall work, mowing the lawn, doing dishes, bla bla bla... but(!) I am going to buy myself some cigars and likely another bottle of rum.

Cool on the cigars and rum! yarrrgh!

I may or may not go in the shop today! lol still coughing a ton... not feeling too rough but not better still... I have insane allergies too, may wear my respirator all day, lol!

I really want to go grind! Sara made me stop yesterday, lol!

The DFK meetup is now scheduled to meet in the Dominican Republic to take advantage of the cigar/rum situation there.

I'm jealous of that Porta-Grinder setup! small wheel, high rpm, pretty sweet! And of course my offer still stands! The swedges look really cool...

Cigars, nice! I smoke mine too slowly but do enjoy them.
 
High RPM!?!@? Shhhheeeeeeet. I use the setting "2".. SLooooow.. lol yeah right! That wheel is used to do very little :D

I figured it was some sort of super grinder, you know like the one they use to make knives with on the space shuttle. :D

OH I am definitely Down with this idea!!!!! We could call it a handle material research trip and write it off on our taxes!

You asked, so here it is: JK Knives Cleaver Junior #1, in John's O1 with KYEnglish/Peter's handles, lanyard and sheath. It's a neat little guy, and this is probably the first useful lanyard in the history of the world, since the knife is so small.

The Folder killed the small fixed blade, for me. I have some nice fb's but it's all folder.
 
And video killed the radio star....

Hmmm always been a folder guy.. fixed blades are more recent (past 12yrs or so).. well fixed blades as EDC... always have liked the blade fixed blades just out of sheer awe :)

Soooo, khurkchete.. NEEDS A SAW BACK SPINE :D MEAN WIDE ONES.. and perhaps a very smart kydex. like the open back style *wink wink*
