Daniel, sounds like a good time! I always love exploring, that was my favorite part of working as a foreclosure contractor, just driving down (up, across, sideways and on an angle too) reclaimed logging roads looking for someones vacation house they couldn't afford or decided they were losing money on. Always something interesting! I would even have to pull county records for exact property lines to confirm the lot.

Big - sounds like a grand time! Nothing like a late night cruise on the water. I used to do that, just get the boat after work and go sail until midnight or so! I love being on the water at night, so quiet and calm. Sounds like Momma had a grand ol' time herself , on the boat or not, lol! I'm a Sailor Jerry Rum drinker, but like 10cane rum for a time I want to splurge a bit. I highly recommend 10cane, neat or on the rocks.

Morning y'all!

Just finished walking the dogs, Weber is learnin his manners on the leash and I think has started to become used to Radar. They were playing in the yard this morning even! So far, the hardest thing is going to be teaching him to stay off the couch. He did have an accident in the house this morning, but he's just not used to our schedule yet. For the most part he is house broken, which is nice. He does stink a bit right now, but I can't bathe him unil he gets his stitches out this Friday.

Finally got out in the shop this morning, but not for what I really wanted to do. I just had to repair, sharpen and adjust some cheap junk chinese made hedge shears for my FIL's girl friend. I told her to just buy new ones for $10, but she didn't want to so she said she'd buy me a six pack. Handles were falling off, one over-close bumper is missing, the edges looked like she tried cutting rocks. So I pinned the handles, cleaned the rust off, sharpened and just left the bumper off. They'll be rock solid longer than the blades will hold up.

Sounds cool on the shears! dog too!

I am feeling rough this morning, keep getting super dizzy. I think I am dehydrated... allergies... not sure but is sucks! just had some chicken soup and a gatorade...

I was feeling fine for the most part yesterday, am getting some rest now...
 
Sounds rough. Maybe you over did it yesterday and wore yourself out. Take the time to get better than try to work through it and end up being sick twice as long. Fruit smoothies will help too. Loads of vitamins and they're just so tasty! Yogurt, apple juice, peaches and blue berries with ice in the blender. One of my favorite cobos. And I bet Jade will love it too!

I fired up the swamp cooler in the shop yesterday and boy was it nice!
 
Dang Daniel, I hope you get better quick! It sucks being sick.

You have a package comin' to ya, but it's nothing exciting or particularly good for battling colds. >_>

The dog you got seems awesome! If I had a functional yard in the winter I would have a dog. Good stuff!

I AGREE! :D I told the bills to take the week off, lol. They told me they were on the ball again this week! plankers...

Beer in a can, that's for extreme use... when glass can break! :) lol, the local brewery has cans for that purpose... Ska beer...

I don't need beer, the room spins on it's own! lol I bit it trying to sit down earlier so I chose the intelligent path and went and used the grinder. Luckily I only get dizzy when I move.

I was looking up symptoms and read it was somewhat common to get an ear infection leading to dizzyness a few days after having a virus... I was sick, felt better for a couple of days and then dizzy. Makes sense but not fun... If I feel this way for any longer I'm getting one of those engine diagnostic machines and hooking myself up. :)

Kev, I work tomorrow but have a couple hours in the morning. I might not get to sneak out to the shop, with the kiddo's 4th birthday on Wednesday I'll likely end up having to clean something so our family doesn't balk at our dirty baseboards of someting.

Just one of those nights, drinkin my dinner and smokin my dessert. Sailor Jerry and a Rocky Patel. Sitting under the almond tree in 72* windless night. Got the pellet pistol next to me ready for the rats to run across the wires. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.
