You guys celebrate Cinco de Mayo out there? It's been crazy all weekend here. I was hoping more people would be celebrating Star Wars day yesterday, but out here Cinco de Mayo takes over.

I visited friends in Philly yesterday. We were out in Rittenhouse Square, waxing idiotic, when some members of the Philly gaming club approached us and asked us to act out scenes from Star Wars.

And of course we said yes :)

It was a blast! Not sure where the pics are posted though.

In TX we do Cinco de Mayo... no clue here! cool as I did not notice the date until now

We're about to run to the PO, lots of boxes are going out. 15 total! I have one more order of 14 knives going out and after that will... be getting more caught up! :D
 
Lots of Cinco de Mayo fun here in Chicago - though its a bit neighborhood dependent. Mine was pretty nuts over the weekend. It was funny to see the crossover at my neighborhood bar between Kentucky Derby decorations, and Cinco decorations... not a great combination.
 
Daniel- This SnG came with edge-pro edge. I sent it back for a Strider edge and a possible new detent ball. I finally found an SnG with Coyote Tan.

This may seem like a peculiar question, but which shipping method did you use? I thought I've heard rumblings that Strider prefers a specific shipper (either FedEx or UPS) and absolutely NOT the USPS. My baby has got a creepy lock bar and was thinking of sending her in. Thank you, sir.

Took the family out for lunch after getting my boy tortured by the docs with all the needles, 3 vaccines, eye and ear test, two vials of blood, physical, and cognitive eval. He was not a happy camper!

One of these days I will get to enjoy my day off, got called in to cover closing for the new girl. She left early on Saturday, off on Sunday and "came down with food poisoning" suddenly this morning... not a good way to prove your worth to your new boss.

I have been go-go-go with 16 and 18 hour days lately and it's finally catching up, I think I'm getting sick. Not fun. I should take some vacation days, I've already capped out and am not accruing anymore for the year. Maybe just a hunting trip will do me some good.


Trying to make it a good day...

Hey guys!

Still all sick here but I got back in the shop today and have gotten a lot done. Six knives ground, spines rounded, handles filed and sanded round, holes chamfered, bam!
