On another note, a different forum I'm on, I posted the Stinger and it has received praise from M.S. Lin Rhea! That's a big two thumbs up dude!
Finally got my correct hand guard for my AR15 today, sort of, lol. I purchased a carbon fiber hand guard online, it arrives to my parents house. I didn't get over there for almost a week, so when talking to my dad about it the details I was talking about weren't matching up with what he had in his hands. I get it, it's for an AR10. About $100 more than what I paid for, but can't use it. Called and told them what I paid for and what they sent, so today my replacement arrives with a return tag. I get it and it's for an AR15, but it's their tactical version that cost $45 more than I paid! But, it's still not the part I want. It has full length picatiny rail, two 2" rail section and weighs 4 oz more than the one I want. Mixed feelings about it...

Sounds pretty awful, X. Maybe time to find a new vendor?
I went to grind some knives last night and found that the PVC pipe for my rigged dust collector was.. on the ground. It was a combination of melted, and burned straight through. I'll go ahead and chalk that one up to bad luck. Also, I should really do a better job with that setup >_>
Looks like another night off for me. I need to hit the interwebs and figure out a better way to run the dust collector.

Farchyld that is rough on the dust collector! I have melted metal dryer tubing with mine and am still trying to figure out a budget friendly way to get it going properly. I think I'll have to just pay and get some metal ducting. I ditched my filter bag and am likely going to run it outside into a "closet" with a dust/spark trap. I may freeze this winter!
I did get some better dryer tube too, it has served me well so far but I want something rigid.
I hope you get that sorted out easily!

Morning guys!
It sounds like Jonestown here this morning. The theater across the street from me has their back doors open and the church group using it has some guy preaching in a rather monotone voice and slower cadence. It was a trip to hear it, haven't heard the Jonestown recordings in a long time.
The handguard issue, I think they were trying to upgrade me this time. I don't consider it a full on mistake, but it's not what I wanted. Either way, I'm going to keep it. Dealing with the company was very easy and all were more than helpful and extremely polite. The first wrong part I believe was just an honest mistake.
Bobby, maybe put a separator trap closer to the inlets so you can still run pvc pipe for most of it. I have seen separators made from 30 gallon metal trash cans.

Sounds like a relaxing evening.
I'm just chillin while the wife and kid are in bed. Tomorrow is the wifes last day at the bakery, the ridiculous schedule isn't working and the idiot coworkers make it miserable for her. But she still has to be there at 0300 hours.
So, I'm just relaxing with a beer. A new one for me. Not a new brew, just don't know why I haven't tried it yet. Damn tasty stuff too. Real floral/fruit flavor without hiding any hop boldness. Sloth, this is from up your way, you drink it?

Long, frustrating day. Discovered I had a Sprint account overdue. I've been an AT&T customer for a decade. Turns out my felon dads been using my SSN. Two hours on the phone with Sprint and online chat, only to find out that because I don't know the security question I can't have it cancelled!

Damn Bobby, that sucks. Three days ago one of our bank accounts was drained with a duplicate card, at a local department store...by the theif in person. Tough part is there is only one way to tell that someone is using a recoded card, the last four digits on the receipt will not match the card.
Got it squared away finally, but of course it's the account that we pay most the bills from.
It's beer-thirty. Have one on me bro.

Bummer you two are having fraud issues. That sucks on so many levels - not just the theft, but the hassle of getting it resolved is such a frustrating time-suck. Well wishes all around.
Wife and son are off to visit her folks and take care of her mom post surgery. I can't get off work so I'm staying in town. But not having a toddler in the house means one thing. Tool and Knife sharpening extravaganza!
Already got all my planes and chisels re-sharpened (I have some woodworking planned too). Should be a productive few weeks. I hope. Hmm... I should redo that drywall too...
