knowtracks, great collection of top shelf S&M's.

ea42, I love all those stock knives, especially that vintage Camillus in the box. Its making me so sad to see the way they are going as of late.

MDG, Great comparisons on the vintage Boker's, its nice to see a tool of such quality that have served its owner in such good stead.

Thanks, Eric, I'll have to watch for one. I like the tools in the handle idea.

So many nice knives here, you guys make me drool... I wish I could find nice slipjoint in my corner of the world...

Knwtracks- love those shields!

danielp,
I am darn sorry to hear that!. Where is it in the world you live that you can not obtain a good old fashion slipjoint??

Here's my small collection. The top ones are a few I bought and ones I inherited from my dad and grandpa, the bottom ones are some that my dad had put up and always kept in top condition.

I live in Indonesia. The only slipjoint readily available here is SAKs (if SAK is counted), and only the most common ones. I know my dad used to have an old slipjoint (I'm still trying to find it somewhere is the old house), have no idea where did he get that.

My wife surprised me with this one on Christmas! Queen Abalone #26 stockman in D2. I think it's 3 1/4" long closed. Really nice for the office. Sharp, too!

Sorry guys, for not contributing to this great thread earlier... I just knew I would be caught out by a Stockman thread, with no pics... which is exactly what happened.

These are some of my Stockman collection, others are scattered around the house and the office, with some older English ones packed away in the loft and at my parents' house, which is 120 miles away.

This is a terrible pic, just went ouitside to take it and it is so dark, the flash went off! at 2.00pm ! this is a depressing time of the year, weatherwise.

Love the looks of that Puma, Casares.
It looks really pocket-friendly.

Karl,

no Pumas in my Stockman collection....
I think you mean the Camillus Tobacco Stockman with the circular shield ?

I love it, it is a very nice little knife that cost me $6 new.

Yep, that's the one I meant.
You got me fooled there. :D
I've got the Puma Senior and Junior myself, and this knife seems to have the same kind of wood as well as the same general appearance as those two. The circular shield helped tricking me as well...
It's a beautiful knife, Casares!!!

Didn't know Camillus made knives looking so similar to the Puma knives (or is it the other way round?).
I learn something new at this forum every day.
