please note that the opinions of kronckew are not necessarily those of his outsourcing agents, the guptas, or even those of akash. mr. kroncke is a well known conservative social anarchist and he is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the social democratic party's citizens enforcement section.

please also note that after the unfortunate demise of my father, akash I, who was being found cho'ked to death by a knotted white scarf last friday, i have the pleasure of taking over the family business.

oops, sorry boss.

i'd hoped once your father was gone, you'd behave, but no, you had to go on. now you are in many troubles. he can smell your fear and will come for you, even all the way from the UK.

Jeez, Kronc...

You get so bloody-minded. :) Think of more supportive and guiding spiritual concepts.:

Manitou is a term used to designate the spirits among many Algonquian groups. It refers to the concept of one aspect of the interconnection and balance of nature/life, similar to the East Asian concept of qi;[citation needed] in simpler terms it can refer to a spirit. This spirit is seen as a (contactable) person as well as a concept. Everything has its own manitou—every plant, every stone, even machines. In the shamanistic traditions the manitous (or manidoog or manidoowag) are connected to achieve a desired effect, like plant manitous for healing or the buffalo manitou for a good hunt. In the Anishinaabeg tradition manidoowag are one aspect of the Great Connection. Related terms used by the Anishinaabeg are manidoowish for small animal manidoowag and manidoons for insects; both terms mean "little spirit". In other Algonquian languages such as Iynu the word manituw originally referred to underwater creatures to whom hunters offered tobacco in order to appease them when travelling through their territories.

The name of the Canadian province of Manitoba, named for Lake Manitoba in the province, derives from the place name manitou-wapow, "strait of the Manitou" in Cree or Ojibwe, referring to The Narrows at the centre of the lake.[1] Also Manitoulin Island means "spirit island".

ok, to be nice i will only break one of akash II's neck vertebrae, and will not mangle any of the guptas more than necessary. i promise not to eat any of them. (maybe just a little snack, but i don't think any one will notice...)

i am discovering urgent business in afghanistan, it is suddenly looking a lot safer there. we are changing our names, and are closing down the business. tiger farming has a lot going for it i am told.
-the not guptas.

i also have changed my name, and discovered the joys of window cleaning. i am selling my laptop and bicycle even as i finish typing this and moving to another country far away. i am washing everything i have ever touched in bleach and am burning my house and changing ny diet so to change my smell. i am becoming a buddhist monk and donating all my worldly goods to charity and will wander the world cleaning windows in temples, mosques, churches, and other religious buildings for the rest of my days.

see, kismet, my spiritual guidance has set them on a new path to enlightenment, and i shall be watching them to ensure they do not stray from the new paths they have chosen. i have contributed my bit towards whirled peas.

Thanks guys, my ribs are hurting:thumbup:

Jake did you notice this thread stayed on topic for the first 3 pages!, after which time it suprisingly took a prompt turn off of the deep end and was moved to the cantina by the other mod.

probably closer to two pages before da debbil took over.

hi lal,

making a possibly fatal assumption from your user name, and thus extending the assumption to your FIL, and also assuming you mean the charming debonair photo of me in my fuzzier and more feathered youth when excited by the lunar radiance, i fear we are discussing two different flavours of 'indian'. it is of course more PC to refer to my family back in the states as being part native american, as we were not responsible for columbus' little navigational error based on his invalid assumptions of the location of the other 'india'.

i do however appreciate a good proper indian style curry, as long as it's not too hot. kashmiri style is fine tho.

i thus fear that if your FIL is anywhere near as handsome as i was in that earlier photo, reflecting his national heritage would have made him not only too spicy to eat, but probably would have made him a bit meaner and nastier than a proper predator likes in his food, and i also would not like to become HIS food either. i have heard of weretigers over there in the real india. a poor american werewolf wouldn't stand a chance, especially as i am now almost 441 doggy years old. of course i'd be carrying a 20" HI Kobra nowadays instead of that coup stick.

Is this what they call, "currying favor"? (Sorry, I couldn't think of a, "cho" joke.)

Yours Sincerely,

Attila the Pun;)

lamb and apricot curry is better than curried favour. favours are almost extinct and hard to raise in captivity. wild favours tend to get run over by scientists. favour hunting with hounds was outlawed a year or so ago.
_768249_staghunt300.jpg

since then there has been a marked decline in both wedding favours, and party favours. not to mention a steep decline in hounds, horses, and hunters; all of which had to be put down after their redundancies.

we did have a curry-on up the khyber film extract in post no. 83, that was intended as a 'cho'ke.
