Chris Reeve knives on (knifetests.com)

BUMP BUMP BUMP

When is that special INFI gonna make it to the cutting competitions? I think a few of us is waiting for it to become a winner in bladesports.... Anyways, the Chinese have a whole page dedicated to Chris Reeve fakes and others... Just do a little research an protect yourself, you never know who will try to resale stuff like that.

Oh you are funny......

Bumped a very old thread.....

A new thread would have been better, just sayin'

I know, I was just responding to that post.

It must be really cold outside for guys to be diggin' up threads this old....

I didn't dig it up, I got an email that someone responded to it and when I saw what it said.....

I think he was refering to boxpress, I was.;)

Right on. I probably should have said "guy" instead of "guys" digging up an old thread.

It just seems odd to intentionally and knowingly "BUMP" a thread of this age....as if some new information might have come to light in the period of dormancy...

I know this is not a scientific test with every single variable accounted for and I'm not a professor but I'm guessing that the law of averages would come into play here. Sure every hit is not exactly the same however I'd bt that in general he is putting these knives though about the same punishment so long as he is using the same test and he is the one doing it. In other words, it may be unscientific BUT a betting man would place his money on the CS Tanto over a CRK any day and that is something to concider as relevant. As has been mentioned, people are making the claim that this is a ridiculous test, and perhaps for most it is, however, these are advertised as tough and military knives. If everyone only used knives for what knives were made for there would be little need for a stout blade with obtuse bevels. People are buying these kind of knives for the comfort of knowing it could survive being used to cut through sheet metal in some unforseen emergency or prying a door because it would be the only thing on them capable. Having the proper tool is fine and dandy but there are such things as emergencies and unforeseen circumstances-this is why I buy a stout survival type knife. Noss videos help inform , to a degree, those looking for this type of knife and guess what? There are many of us out there. Many who likelybought a CRK and were deeply pissed withthe rsults.
Let me see, yep I seriously believe in what I said.

Part of my primary degree was materials testing, as much to understand materials as the legitimate setting up and structuring of valid tests. Add to this theory and design of structures.

There was a cute course on fasteners. The fun when fasteners fail. That is a whole revealing section of its own. Some one uses a HT bolt instead of a MS bolt or visa versa, you use an incorrect washer and people die.

In addition Dip in Post Grad statistics.

Whoops I nearly left out the whole shebang of supervising testing on sites of concrete, steel and structures.

And Karate persons obviously fake breaking blocks of concrete rather than focusing energy.

Bumping this thread again for some good discussion?

At this stage of the argument I feel like this:
