I think I will do the EDC video 1st since it's sharp enough and has a great edge on it.

I'm interested to see how it fairs retention wise for you. It holds up pretty well and is easy to sharpen, but the razor sharpness leaves early on, while holding a good working edge. I'm very happy with mine.

So am I, very happy sofar.

That's just S30V, gets that working edge and just keeps cutting.

Once I do the 1st stage (EDC Video), I will reprofile it and do the edge retention test, then the rest, the rope to cardboard test....

No, I promised some people I wouldn't do anymore of those, I learned all I needed to learn with the ones I already did.

I reprofiled mine with the EP and didn't care for it. Damn thing kept rolling. Sent it back to CRK to reconvex it.

I used mine to pry out a broken carbide insert out of a 2 inch bore drill that had melted on a cnc lathe today, it's still alive haha.

Carbide is the enemy.

Nice score. I've had mine since Christmas. It was a gift from my girl. Mine was really sharp out of the box as well. I ended up sharpening it a little on the Edge Pro, but the huge belly required a little repositioning.
