Nice score, the Lumix is a damn good camera.
Oh, I didn't know you were in climbing mountains or decending.....
 
Tradewater I have the same camera. It's really nice. Took a little getting used to with no eye viewer but between that and a Fuji finepix I have, it takes much better pictures. No Xmas loot to show off. Asked and got a Gerorge Forman grill. Just didn't have much need for anything. I did however, buy this for myself yesterday as a after Christmas present.

Semi Wharncliff EDC in black micarta, with 1/8" thick toxic green G10 liners from John with JK Knives. He made my handle specs on it and I am sure I will love it when it arrives.

I was Santa this year, so nothing for me.
However, my unspent vacation time gets cashed out the first week of January, so I'm making plans for a belated Christmas present then!
 
CLICHS XMAS HAS ARRIVED. My presents didn't make the delivery cutoff off for Xmas eve so here is my total haul. A ZT 0550, a bk14 with izula micarta, a black jack 155 with micarta, a kfu bushcrafter, a crkt eat n tool, and a maxpedition rite in the rain tablet (special gift from knifeworks) now that's how Xmas is done!

Well not sure what I did to get such a great Christmas................I was hoping I might get a BK2 but it ended up way better than that.
My dad got me 2 knives :eek: an Esee 4 and a Swamp Rat Rodent Solution

Damn, looks like everybody made out pretty good this year! OLJ, very generous of you! Maybe not a "tough guy" , but definitely a great guy to have around here. I had a REALLY good year! My gf got me a flint and steel kit, 5.11 pants and paid for my work bench I won in the work auction. My Grandparents bought me a new file set, Duluth shoreman's fleece and a worksharp 2000. My parents really surprised me with a few things, but the real kicker....my Dad wrote off the rest of my debt I owed him for my Harley. I'd made the agreement to buy my Mom's old bike before my daughter came along. Dad said screw it, that daughter will make you broke, I'll never get my money anyway.

Flint & steel kit the gf got me.

Looks like eveyone got some things that they wanted anyways. I'll have to try n post some pics here tomorrow or something. Clich, how do you like that Blackjack necker? I've been looking at them for a month or two and thinking I should get one.

Im gonna be doing a complete edc fixed blade review and it will include the bjk and the bk14 and the izula 2, but in short, its smaller then i expected. Its longer than an izula and shorter than a bk11-14 but the real small size comes from the blade width, its not as wide as the others. Ill have to play with it more to see how the feel really is, since im used to wider profiles, but the F&F are TOP NOTCH and the grind is wicked sharp. The only over sight i see is the the coating was, i guess, oversprayed and a bead ran down the ricasso and looks out of place. Other than that no complaints yet. Ill keep ya posted

Most of this stuff is for caving. We do like to rappel and climb a little too..:D

Very nice a 100th anniversary Sportster 2003 1200 Custom.............but you do know reflectors are Ghey? Get the scraper and acetone out all ready.

Hey Clich what are your thoughts on that black jack? Back when I was looking at picking up a smaller knife I was considering one but ultimately decided on the 14. However I still love they way they look. Good first impressions of it?
